• Piping input AND output of ffmpeg in python

  I’m using ffmpeg to create a video, from a list of base64 encoded images that I pipe into ffmpeg.

  Outputting to a file (using the attached code below) works perfectly, but what I would like to achieve is to get the output to a Python variable instead - meaning piping input and piping output but I can’t seem to get it to work

  My current code :

  This results in a working mp4, but I would like to avoid saving to local.

  Running the same code with changing output to '-' or 'pipe:1' and adding stdout=sp.PIPE results in an error

• Convert form 30 to 60fps by increasing speed, not duplicating frames. FFmpeg

  I have a video that is incorrectly labelled at 30fps, it is actually 60fps and so looks like it's being played at half speed. The audio is fine, that is, the soundtrack finishes half way through the video clip. I'd like to know how, if possible to fix this, that is double the video speed, making it 60fps and meaning that the audio and video are synced.

  The file is H.264 and the audio MPEG-4 AAC

• Windows Batch - Change the beginning of a path but keep the rest

  I’m running FFMPEG for video encoding.
  I have a batch file which will encode files you drop on it, keeping the file’s original name and copy the encoded files to a specific directory.
  I would like that script to "know" the original’s file path and copy the encoded file to a path relative to it, meaning :
  original file dropped on batch file is in C :\some\folder\show\season\episode\file.mov
  encoded file should be encoded to D :\different\directory\show\season\episode\file.mp4
  The part of the path up until \show is fixed.
