• ffmpeg conversion from MOV to mp4 - how to conserve creation date

  I am helping a friend move his photos and videos from one Apple ID to another.
I have downloaded all items to my PC using iCloud for PC. I then proceeded to re-upload all the photos to the new Apple ID.
2'000 of the videos are MOV, which I cannot upload to iCloud. I seem to need to convert them to mp4 in order to upload them.

  



  I have converted all of the MOVs to mp4 using the following batch

  



  FOR /F "tokens=*" %%G IN ('dir /b *.MOV') DO ffmpeg -i "%%G" -f mp4 -vcodec copy -acodec mp3 "%%~nG.mp4"


  



  This worked fine and I managed to upload the (now) mp4's to iCloud. Unfortunately all the mp4's now carry yesterday's date as creation date. In iCloud (and on the iPad) all the videos are now displayed with a creation date of 12.6.2020 and it is impossible to find a particular video. Also the context to the photos is lost.

  



  Question :

  



  

  • Is there any way to (batch) convert 2'000 MOV to mp4 while preserving the creation date ?

  


  • alternatively : is there any way to upload the original MOV files to iCloud ?

  I use ffmpeg dinamically to edit a local hosted video to be streamed on iPhone over 3G .

  I use this line :
  "ffmpeg -i C :\file1.mp4 -s 640x480 -r 30000/1001 -b:a 56k -bt 40k -b:v 50k -maxrate 10M -bufsize 10M -coder 0 -bf 0 -refs 1 -ar 48000 -ab 52k C :\file2.mp4" and it doesn’t work to open on iPhone the transformed file called "file2.mp4".
  I use Web Api and C# to call the ffmpeg locally and the resulted file opens on the browser but still doesn’t want to stream to an iPhone over 3G only if it’s over WiFi.

  Here Apple explains the process but I still didn’t get it work .

• Node Media Server not stream when i try to pass the argument "transpose=1" to ffmpeg

  I'm using node-media-server to stream to instagram, and i need to rotate the original vídeo, to be portrait. I know that there is a flag on ffmpeg called transpose (there is rotate too), but when i pass it on node_relay_session.js on 24 line at the argv array, it returns me a "[Relay end]" on console, and it does'nt stream. When I remove the transpose flag from argv array it backs to stream normaly. Here is my config to nms :
