  • HTML5 audio and video support

    13 avril 2011, par

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
    For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.

  • Support audio et vidéo HTML5

    10 avril 2011

  • MP4Box / FFMPEG concat loses audio after first clip

    17 novembre 2017, par user1615343

    So I am certainly no expert when it comes to either of these tools, but I have a web-based project that’s executing commands on an Amazon Linux server to concatenate two video files that are uploaded.

    Both files are converted to mp4s first using FFMPEG, and those play perfectly in a browser after conversion :

    ffmpeg -i file1.mpg -c:v libx264 -crf 22 -c:a aac -strict -2 -movflags faststart file2.mp4

    Then, I attempt to combine these two resulting mp4s into a single mp4. I tried using FFMPEG to do this but to no avail. Switching to try MP4Box got me much closer : the videos are concatenated together, but the audio stops playing at the end of the first clip, and the second clip is silent.

    MP4Box -force-cat -keepsys -add file.mp4 -cat file2.mp4 out.mp4

    I’ve tried varying versions of the above command with no better results. Any input is greatly appreciated.

    EDIT : info on .mp4 files using

    ffmpeg -i file1.mp4 -i file2.mp4

  • FFMpeg - Overlay not being shown when enable=between parameter is added

    19 août 2020, par Khawar Raza

    I am using below command to add transitions effect between videos using overlays such that when one videos is about to finish, the overlay gets visible. Before showing overlays, I have to add padding and concatenate videos make one single video and then display overlays. :

    ffmpeg
-i input1.mp4
-i input2.mp4
-i input3.mp4
-i transition1.mp4
-i transition2.mp4
-filter_complex
"[0:v]pad=width=1080:height=1920:x=(1080-iw)*0.5:y=(1920-ih)*0.5:color=black[video0];
[1:v]pad=width=1080:height=1920:x=(1080-iw)*0.5:y=(1920-ih)*0.5:color=black[video1];
[2:v]pad=width=1080:height=1920:x=(1080-iw)*0.5:y=(1920-ih)*0.5:color=black[video2];
[video0][video1][video2]concat=n=3:v=1:a=0[outv];
[3:v]colorkey=0x00d800:0.1[t0];
[t0]scale=w=1080:h=1920[tr0];
[4:v]colorkey=0x00d800:0.1[t1];
[t1]scale=w=1080:h=1920[tr1];
[outv][tr0]overlay=0:0:enable='between(t\,7\,9)'[out0];
[out0][tr1]overlay=0:0:enable='between(t\,12\,15)'[out1];
[0:a][1:a][2:a]concat=n=3:v=0:a=1[audio]"
-vsync 0 -c:v libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p -map [out1] -map [audio] -preset ultrafast output.mp4

    But above command does not show any overlay video. If I remove enable=between(t, start, end) from overlay parameters, all the overlay gets displayed at video start. I am very beginner to video editing and to FFMpeg. Can anybody guide me what I am doing wrong here ?

  • Why is my discord.py bot not having voice while being hosted on Heroku ?

    24 juillet 2020, par Flying Thunder

    My bot is all set up and running, everything works, EXCEPT for voice : He joins the channel, but doesnt play audio. I have heard many different claims for what the reason is (no permission to use ffmpeg.exe, missing buildpack, missing dependency, Heroku blocking UDP on free users...) - but i hope that someone here ACTUALLY knows what the problem is, because i couldnt find any definitive reason online.

    This is the code of the bot : https://github.com/FlyingThunder/DiscordBot/blob/master/main.py
Everything is working fine on my machine.
This is the only error that Heroku logs gave me :
2020-07-24T06:28:30.329937+00:00 app[worker.1]: PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'res/ffmpeg.exe'

    I already tried adding https://github.com/jonathanong/heroku-buildpack-ffmpeg-latest.git to my buildpacks, and i added cffi==1.14.0 to my requirements.txt - both solutions that are supposed to fix this exact issue.
