    Un logiciel n’est malheureusement jamais parfait...
    Si vous pensez avoir mis la main sur un bug, reportez le dans notre système de tickets en prenant bien soin de nous remonter certaines informations pertinentes : le type de navigateur et sa version exacte avec lequel vous avez l’anomalie ; une explication la plus précise possible du problème rencontré ; si possibles les étapes pour reproduire le problème ; un lien vers le site / la page en question ;

    MediaSPIP is based on a system of themes and templates. Templates define the placement of information on the page, and can be adapted to a wide range of uses. Themes define the overall graphic appearance of the site.
    Anyone can submit a new graphic theme or template and make it available to the MediaSPIP community.

  • Need help to remove repetitions or duplicated frams in my podcast videos

    I record videos in a strange way. When I record my podcast videos I often record in the same conversation twice within the same video.

    


    If you would look at it you would see and hear something like this.

    


    "I open the door I open the door and let him in".

    


    I open the door was recorded twice in this example. Currently, I am manually removing these things myself in DaVinci resolve afterward. But I have heard that FFMPEG and mpdecimate are things that could do some wonders here.

    


    I found a video on youtube and found this code
ffmpeg -i original_file.mp4 -vf mpdecimate -vsync vfr -acodec copy mpdecimated.mp4

    


    but nothing happened. Something did happen, it did do something, but nothing happened to my video.

    


    Would love some help.

    


  • Enable Codec on FFmpeg

    I'm tryiing to use g711 alaw with ffmpeg. The call
    avcodec_find_encoder(CODEC_ID_PCM_ALAW) ;
    returns null.
    I'm passing —enable-encoder=pcm_alaw as parameter to ./configure.
    What is wrong ?

  • OpenCV : Cannot open camera with CAP_FFMPEG even though ffmpeg is installed

    Initializing a camera video capture using CAP_FFMPEG fails even though I have ffmpeg installed :

    


    cv::VideoCapture vcap;
vcap.open(0, cv::CAP_FFMPEG);

// After these, vcap.isOpened() returns false.


    


    However, it works perfectly when I open a file in the same way :

    


    cv::VideoCapture vcap;
vcap.open(argv[1], cv::CAP_FFMPEG);

/* Correctly opens the video file at path argv[1],
vcap.isOpened() returns true. */


    


    The problem occurs in both OpenCV versions installed in my system : 4.5.1 and 3.2.0. Version 3.2.0 came installed in my Linux distribution but I have compiled 4.5.1 myself. During compilation, I have verified that CMake succesfully recognized the ffmpeg installation in my system. I guess the problem is not related to OpenCV not recognizing ffmpeg since I can open and work on video files without any problems on both OpenCV versions.

    


    Any help is greatly appreciated.
