• How to download video streaming powered by JW Player 8.4.2 + iframe src from hydrax.net combined ? [on hold]

  I find that downloading a video that streamed via JW Player 8.4.2. which using hydrax.net as the media source is really annoying & frustrating because I’ve done my best with the all solution I’ve found comes to nothing.

  Is there any solution left I can try ?

  I’m trying to download video from http://javmile.com/dvd/anna-marie-patsukin-channel-z-vol/39585 with ffmpeg & youtube-dl but not worked.

  I tried to stream/convert the .m3u8 file I managed to download with VLC but still not worked.

  I also tried to look for the alternative from Inspect -> Network -> Media and all that I got is a blob link that ends dead end. Inspect -> Application also doesn’t provide any solution since there’s no Video frame.

  Last but not least, I’ve tried the Video DownloadHelper extension from Firefox trick to download the video from the referrer/url link but it’s failed too.

• Is it possible to come up with a video player which will be using scilab gui and ffmpeg without writing c code for ffmpeg [on hold]

  I want to make a videoplayer using scilab. Now scilab has the facility of calling cpp files using scilab api , I can write the cpp code for ffmpeg.
  But even if I do so I am unable to stop the video.If anyone has any suggestion kindly help me out.

• Video won't play with Android's native MediaPlayer, however it plays with Dropbox's video player

  I’m having trouble playing a certain .3gp file (from a Dropbox link) with Android’s MediaPlayer. However the file magically plays without problems from the Dropbox Android app.

  I’m trying to play it using this :

  Intent intent = new Intent(android.content.Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
  
  intent.setData(Uri.parse("https://www.dropbox.com/s/zpiqwmxka6llavt/SketchyFile.3gp"));
  
  startActivity(intent);

  and my manifest contains

  which gives a "Can’t play this video" error.

  

  Logcat shows :

  If I try to play it from the Dropbox Android app, Dropbox’s video player has no problem playing it.

  

  According to ffmpeg’s ffprobe tool I could verify that the media type is not something exotic to Android.

  Is Dropbox performing some weird transcoding voodoo and is there a way I can make this work in a similar way ?
