Encoding and processing into web-friendly formats
13 avril 2011, parMediaSPIP automatically converts uploaded files to internet-compatible formats.
Video files are encoded in MP4, Ogv and WebM (supported by HTML5) and MP4 (supported by Flash).
Audio files are encoded in MP3 and Ogg (supported by HTML5) and MP3 (supported by Flash).
Where possible, text is analyzed in order to retrieve the data needed for search engine detection, and then exported as a series of image files.

Automated installation script of MediaSPIP
25 avril 2011, parTo overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.
The documentation of the use of this installation script is available here.
The code of this (...) -

Intel QuickSync error : Error while opening encoder for output stream #0:0 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height
30 novembre 2018, par Arie SyamsudinI want to make IPTV with a topology like this :
Restream / source -----> IPTV server -----> User
The problem at the moment is the question of bandwidth that is still large.
Finally I announced by IPTV software providers to transcode with Intel QuickSync video and FFmpeg.
I followed the steps given by the software provider at the following link :
http://www.ezhometech.com/document/intel_ffmpeg.txtWhich comes from the link below :
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/public/us/en/documents/white-paper...I installed IPTV software on a laptop with an Intel processor, chipset and VGA.

Recording a window and streaming it over HLS
18 mars 2021, par Jakob TinhoferI am new to ffmpeg and trying to find a way to stream a window to a website with sound using a HLS stream and video.js. I found 2 good resources :

-

- This SO post describing the process of window capturing.
- This web tutorial on HLS streaming from an existing video.

I tried to just connect these 2 commands :

ffmpeg -f gdigrab -framerate 30 -probesize 42M -i title="Executables" out.flv

and

ffmpeg -i input_vid.mp4 \
-filter_complex \
"[0:v]split=3[v1][v2][v3]; \
[v1]copy[v1out]; [v2]scale=w=1280:h=720[v2out]; [v3]scale=w=640:h=360[v3out]" \
-map [v1out] -c:v:0 libx264 -x264-params "nal-hrd=cbr:force-cfr=1" -b:v:0 5M -maxrate:v:0 5M -minrate:v:0 5M -bufsize:v:0 10M -preset slow -g 48 -sc_threshold 0 -keyint_min 48 \

-master_pl_name master.m3u8 \
-var_stream_map "v:0,a:0 v:1,a:1 v:2,a:2" stream_%v.m3u8

into this command :

ffmpeg -f gdigrab -framerate 60 -probesize 42M -i title="Executables" -b:v 3M \
-filter_complex \
"[0:v]split=3[v1][v2][v3]; \

-master_pl_name master.m3u8 \
-var_stream_map "v:0,a:0 v:1,a:1 v:2,a:2" stream_%v.m3u8

but I got these errors :

[gdigrab @ 000002eb554631c0] Found window Executables, capturing 1566x694x32 at (0,0)
Input #0, gdigrab, from 'title=Executables':

To ignore this, add a trailing '?' to the map.

My first thought was that gdigrab did not record any audio, so I tried to add it :

ffmpeg -thread_queue_size 128 -f gdigrab -framerate 30 -probesize 42M -i title="Spotify Premium" -f dshow -i audio="VoiceMeeter Output (VB-Audio VoiceMeeter VAIO)" \

-master_pl_name master.m3u8 \
-var_stream_map "v:0,a:0 v:1,a:1 v:2,a:2" stream_%v.m3u8

But I still got the same error, even though that when running this to an output file it worked fine (besides dramatic fps drops but I probably should ask that in another post). I am not even sure if you can connect these commands like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
