    MediaSPIP 0.1 beta is the first version of MediaSPIP proclaimed as "usable".
    The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.
    To get a working installation, you must manually install all-software dependencies on the server.

  • Le plugin : Gestion de la mutualisation

    Le plugin de Gestion de mutualisation permet de gérer les différents canaux de mediaspip depuis un site maître. Il a pour but de fournir une solution pure SPIP afin de remplacer cette ancienne solution.
    Installation basique
    On installe les fichiers de SPIP sur le serveur.
    On ajoute ensuite le plugin "mutualisation" à la racine du site comme décrit ici.
    On customise le fichier mes_options.php central comme on le souhaite. Voilà pour l’exemple celui de la plateforme mediaspip.net :

    Le problème du podcasting est à nouveau un problème révélateur de la normalisation des transports de données sur Internet.
    Deux formats intéressants existent : Celui développé par Apple, très axé sur l’utilisation d’iTunes dont la SPEC est ici ; Le format "Media RSS Module" qui est plus "libre" notamment soutenu par Yahoo et le logiciel Miro ;

    Le format d’Apple n’autorise que les formats suivants dans ses flux : .mp3 audio/mpeg .m4a audio/x-m4a .mp4 (...)

    I have a coin price banner where I use ffmpeg to stream it and use reload:1 to render it in real time. I want to color the negative with red and the positive with green , haw to do it and is it posible with fflmpeg

  • How to process video stream ?

    I would like to ask some experienced multimedia professional how to proceed with following task :

    Given URL provides video stream and we would like to get access to decoded frames (byte stream in memory) in managed Win7+ application (C#). We don’t want to render/present the frames the standard way. The video format is known but not fixed (might get changed between two successive sessions, but we will know the parameters).

    So far, I have found there are several methods and I have build following picture in my mind :

    1. ffmpeg wrapper
      • Pros
        1. Self contained (no dependency to windows technologies)
        2. Powerful
      • Cons
        1. Little more complex to understand
        2. Lot of different wrapping variants (FFmpeg.NET, ffmpeg-sharp, ffmpeg-shard, FFmpeg.AutoGen, ...)
    2. DirectShow wrapper
      • Pros
        1. Widely used/supported technology (variaous filters freely available)
        2. Nice/detailed documentation on MSDN
      • Cons
        1. Quite old
        2. Considered obsolete from the point of author’s view (available only for desktop model on runtime >= Win8)
    3. MediaFoundation wrapper
      • Pros
        1. Theoretical successor of DirectShow, so should be available in the future
      • Cons
        1. Seems to be not as good as DirectShow
        2. Not very popular, limited "community" support
    4. FFmpegInterop wrapper
      • Pros
        1. Microsoft’s open source wrapper alternative
      • Cons
        1. Not available for runtime < Win8

  • ffmpeg dont work in php shell_exec("ffmpeg -i $movie $pic &")

    I’m running the following script without any problems :

echo $pic  = dirname(__FILE__)."\\PICTURES\\1.jpg";
    
echo shell_exec("ffmpeg -i  $video  $pic &amp;");

    But when I run this one i get nothing :

    echo shell_exec("ffmpeg -i  C:\xampp\htdocs\Video-share-script\MOVIES\1.mp4  C:\xampp\htdocs\Video-share-script\PICTURES\1.jpg &amp;");

    the value of $video is C :\xampp\htdocs\Video-share-script\MOVIES\1.mp4
    and $pic is C :\xampp\htdocs\Video-share-script\PICTURES\1.jpg
