  • ffmpeg - Live stream to web browser [on hold]

    21 octobre 2016, par Sreejith C M

I was looking for a solution to stream my desktop live on my Windows system and found out ffmpeg is a good solution using dshow and everything is working fine and well. I’m using a C# wrapper for ffmpeg to record my desktop and I can save it in a local file.

The problem I have is that, I have to watch the stream on my Web browser ( Chrome / Firefox ). I can’t use Media Server’s like wowza, red5 and also can’t use ffserver.

I tried the ffmpeg wiki https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki and documentation but couldn’t figure out how to do this.

Please help me to figure out this, how I can do this.

  • UPnP Video Streaming with Node.js and FFMPEG - How can I relay the live stream from FFMPEG to Device ?

    20 octobre 2016, par Hadi77
    1. I tried relaying the stream from FFMPEG to a WebSocket connection but how can this happen in HTTP ?
    2. As it is not a full-duplex connection, I have to use a buffer somehow.
So how can I use a buffer for getting stream to the TV (my UPnP Target device) ?

I’m encoding the stream to H.264, and it is a Live Stream.

  • FFmpeg live editing

    17 octobre 2016, par NikxDa

I am trying to create a video editing tool in HTML/CSS and PHP. For the video editing, I am using ffmpeg. Now, the file upload and the general editing works pretty well, but I have a problem. I would like to preview the final result inside an HTML video-tag. Thus, wenn I upload 4 clips and then select seconds 5 to 10 to be cut out, I’d like to immediately view the result so I can decide whether I want to keep it or not. Does FFmpeg support something like this ? If not, what would be the best solution ?
