  • ffmpeg-python - Concatenate videos which may or may not contain audio

    22 janvier 2020, par Paul

    At any time, I may have a list of videos, some with audio and some without.

    For instance :

    video_files = [
        ffmpeg.input('video_w_audio1.mp4'),
        ffmpeg.input('video_without_audio2.mp4'),
        ffmpeg.input('video_w_audio3.mp4'),
    ]

    I want to concatenate them into one using the below command :

    ffmpeg
    .concat(
       *video_files,
       v=1, a=1, unsafe=True)
    .output("output.mp4")
    .run()

    If I run the above without the video w/o audio, the video comes out just fine. If I include the video w/o audio, I get this :

    ValueError: Expected concat input streams to have length multiple of 2 (v=1, a=1); got 3

    I am guessing it’s because ’video_without_audio2.mp4’ doesn’t have an audio stream ?

    How can I get this to concatenate properly ? 1st video has sound, 2nd video has no sound, 3rd video has sound.

    Thanks !

  • How to create a video with audio in Java

    11 décembre 2019, par Schred

    I am currently creating a video editor, and want to be able to export the video alongside some audio to a new MP4 file.

    I know how to export a video without any sound using humble video, a modified version of its RecordAndEncodeVideo example and also JavaCVs FFmpegFrameGrabber. However, I do not know how to :

    1. import an audio file (preferably mp3)
    2. edit it (although not necessary)
    3. and export it together with a video (preferably mp4)

    At the moment I can play sound in the application using javax.sound.sampled.Clip, but that’s about it (no exporting / writing / encoding to a file). I wouldn’t mind changing this for the purpose of being able to export it though.

    What is the best way to go about this ?

  • add background music to video using ffmpeg ?

    3 décembre 2019, par sibbasa

    I have a video file (mp4) with sound, how can I add background music to it ? Using ffmpeg.

    Example please :)
    I tried like this :

    ffmpeg -i son.wav -i video_origine.mp4 video_finale.mp4

    But this method muffles the main sound.
