FFprobe command in a var in IF statement
28 octobre 2017, par bdrilling33I am trying to set up a batch file (currently testing in CMD prompt) to run when there is a change in the directory. I have a command stored in a variable "test" which tells me what the first audio codec is. if it isn’t aa3 i plan to re encode the audio with ffmpeg. My first issue is that when i try to run a simple if statement with my var, i get an error.
set test=ffprobe -v error -select_streams a:0 -show_entries stream=codec_name -of default=nokey=1:noprint_wrappers=1 "my movie (2017).mkv"
when i run %test% it returns what is expected.
if i run this as :
if %test% == "ac3" echo true
i get :
-v was unexpected at this time.
my end goal is to have something like this when something is added to the folder (haven’t go the when something changes part yet...probably just run this once a day idk) :
set test=ffprobe -v error -select_streams a:0 -show_entries stream=codec_name -of default=nokey=1:noprint_wrappers=1 "%f"
set outpath=S:\Blu Ray\New folder\"%f"
for %f in (*.mkv) DO
if %test% <> "ac3" (
ffmpeg -i “%f” -vcodec copy -scodec copy -acodec ac3 -b:a 640k “%outpath%";
del "%f";
move "%outpath%" "s:\Blu Ray\")any help would be great

ffmpeg - "Could not find the codec parameters" (Live Stream)
8 mai 2017, par Gagandeep SinghI am trying to record a live HTTP stream using the following command :
ffmpeg -analyzeduration 2147483647 -probesize 2147483647 -i "http://mumsite.cdnsrv.jio.com/jioplay.catchup.cdn.jio.com/recordings/H8_S480_H264_MP/2556/1493919000.mp4/init/LIVEPROGRAM_CHANNEL_2556_START_1493919000_END_1493922600?uid=guest_uid&recid=SCHEDULED-A00B00C00D00E00F-_-_-2556_48168092&shard=shard_a&sid=77179867662431494241905&i=2&nwk=WIFI&pk=1&CurrentNetworkType=WIFI&CurrentNetworkType=WIFI" -c copy -absf aac_adtstoasc testing.ts
Below is a screenshot of the ff-prompt console :
http://i64.tinypic.com/331d55w.jpg
It looks like the URL is correct but no data is being saved in the file and these warning messages are shown :
multiple fourcc not supported
Could not find codec parameters for stream 1 (Video : none (encv /
0x76636E65), none, 576x432) : unknown codecHow do I determine which codec would handle that stream or is the reason something else ?

How can I reset the path of FFMPEG in Java ?
4 avril 2017, par FiggyjaI accidentally set the path for FFMPEG to a different folder, and I can’t change it back.
I’m using Processing (the API and its IDE) and the user created Video Export library to capture and write an mp4 video file. The library required FFMPEG, so I downloaded and installed it. After I installed it, I ran the code, and the library called Java to request the path of FFMPEG. I wrongly set the path to a different folder, which I eventually deleted. I knew I set it to the wrong folder, and ran the code again to see if I could trigger the Java prompt again to reset the folder.
The console response I received was : (I’m sure most of it doesn’t have to do with the actual issue. However, I wanted to show all of it in case it somehow does.)

C :...\Processing\Octree_Graphics\basic.mp4.txt for more details.
I need to find a way to reset the path of FFMPEG that Java has. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the library, but I haven’t tried Java (I don’t want to mess with anything it has in its current state).
P.S. The file listed at the end of the console response (basic.mp4.txt) was empty because it had not begun writing to the file yet.
