    Le lecteur ne fonctionne pas sur Internet Explorer
    Sur Internet Explorer (8 et 7 au moins), le plugin utilise le lecteur Flash flowplayer pour lire vidéos et son. Si le lecteur ne semble pas fonctionner, cela peut venir de la configuration du mod_deflate d’Apache.

    MediaSPIP transforme et ré-encode les documents mis en ligne afin de les rendre lisibles sur Internet et automatiquement utilisables sans intervention du créateur de contenu.
    Les vidéos sont automatiquement encodées dans les formats supportés par HTML5 : MP4, Ogv et WebM. La version "MP4" est également utilisée pour le lecteur flash de secours nécessaire aux anciens navigateurs.

    I’m having a hard time figuring this one out, so hopefully, some of you who has tried this before, will take the time to reply and share your knowledge.

    I’m working on a site, which after release, will be feeded in the television and other commercial places. The site asks the user to upload a video with a story, and we expect alot of people to do so.

    My problem is the whole storage/space talk. A normal, unencoded iPhone recording easily fills around 100-120 MB for a minute or two.

    I’ve tried setting up and using FFMPEG to re-encode the movies, but the problem is, that one encoding sucks up 100% of the CPU, leaving the site inaccisible for anybody else.

    Is there anything you could suggest, which would be sufficient for such a site ? The client is on a budget, so price is a consideration aswell. Best of all would be a free alternative to etc. FFMPEG, but with less CPU usage.

    My specs are as follows
    CentOs 6 on a
    1GB ram DigitalOcean cloud service with nginx + php-fpm and mysql.

    Im hoping for some cleaver folks to answer this !

    Apparently it can happen that avfilter_graph_request_oldest() returns
    
EAGAIN, yet av_buffersrc_get_nb_failed_requests() returns 0 for every
    
input.
    

    Works around #10795, though the root issue is most likely in the
    
scale2ref filter.

  • Get mime type for MediaSource.isTypeSupported

    How do I get the Mime type I need to pass to MediaSource.isTypeSupported with ffprobe/ffmpeg ?

    For instance, on my computer, that returns true :

    MediaSource.isTypeSupported('video/mp4; codecs="avc1.64000d,mp4a.40.2"')

    while that doesn’t

    MediaSource.isTypeSupported('video/mp4')

    I’m not sure how to get what would correspond to the avc1.64000d,mp4a.40.2 part for a given video. Here is a larger list of what this part may look like.

    ffprobe -show_streams -i video.mp4 returns a number of interesting informations, including

    codec_type=video
    
codec_time_base=1/40
    
codec_tag_string=avc1
    
codec_tag=0x31637661

    and

    codec_type=audio
    
codec_time_base=1/48000
    
codec_tag_string=mp4a
    
codec_tag=0x6134706d

    I’m not sure I should go with 'video/mp4; codecs="avc1.0x31637661,mp4a.0x6134706d"' since this returns false and I don’t know if it’s because it’s not the excepted argument or because the video is indeed not supported.
