• How to use ffmpeg to stream x11 via netcat ?

  These are the commands I’m trying to use

  Server side :

  ffmpeg -f x11grab -video_size cif -framerate 25 -i :0.0+10,20 -f avi - | nc -l 1500

  Client side :

  nc <server ip="ip"> 1500 | mplayer -vo x11 -cache 3000 - 
  
  </server>

  It seems to be streaming on the server side but client is not able to view the stream.

• During transcoding, does output quality of a video improve when i give output bitrate more than input video's bitrate ?

  I use ffmpeg for converting videos.
  As i understand, the bitrate of a video stream is the number of bits which constitute the video over 1 second of time.
  What happens when i specify the output video bitrate to be more than the input video's bitrate ?
  For example :
  If bitrate of "Input.mp4" is 2000KBps and i want to convert it to "Output.mp4" with output bitrate set to 3000KBps.
  How will the converter create the extra 1000 bits(3000-2000) for every second of video ?

• Rtsp streaming on nodejs - Blank screen

  I am currently working on a Node.js project where I need to implement streaming using ffmpeg. However, I am facing an issue with the streaming process, as I am getting an empty blank screen instead of the expected video stream.

  


  Here's a brief overview of what I have done so far on the server-side :

  


  Installed ffmpeg and made sure it is accessible in the environment.
Configured the server-side code for the streaming process.
However, despite these efforts, the stream is not working correctly, and I am unable to see the video stream on the client-side.

  I got no console error when I open index.html but only get blank black screen
