One of the PCM is obtained from MIC source i.e person A's voice and on the other hand i receive person B's voice which is finally decoded to PCM.The goal is to mix the two PCM and play the audio smoothly.It is like a call recording but the approach is different. And also is it possible using ffmpeg ?

    I have a second phone who is converting some mkv files through ffmpeg in termux. But the phone can't get enough charging power from the charger because it uses to much power. So it state is always charging even if it isn't charging. No I want to run in termux a script that hits a kill command when the battery is low. So that it doesn't corrupt my files when shutting down because it just cant survive the night with my battery capacity. Any ideas of achieving this ?

  • Out of memory on ffmpeg when converting to H265

    I’ve a bunch of video files, mostly H264. To save storage, I wrote a batch script, that converts all of them to H265 using ffmpeg. Problem : Some files cause ffmpeg to use ALL my memory (24 GB). Then it crashes (cause it try to allocate even more RAM), which stops the converting process.

    I think that these files are corrupt in some kind. Because with other files, it works well with low memory consumption. Now I want to reject those broken ones, so that unattended converting is possible.

    How is it possible to detect such corruption ? Can ffmpeg do this, or is a third party tool required ?

    mkvalidator can’t help

    eac3to331 can’t help, too

    I found the tool eac3to331, which has a check flag. But it gave me no errors, although the tested file seems corrupt (cause my PC to crash after several minutes running ffmpeg)
