use AForge.Video.FFMPEG.dll to grab video thumbnail
5 avril 2015, par SeanI am using AForge.Video.FFMPEG.dll to grab video thumbnail on website, it will be shown on webpage or other clients. I downloaded latest version of the dll and related native library into /bin folder and copied to system32 folder as well.
but when I compiled the project, it will told me :
"
Could not load file or assembly ’AForge.Video.FFMPEG.DLL’ or one of its dependencies. The specified module could not be found.
"-
I copied all DLLs
-
All DLLs are 32bit, not x64 bit.

I saw another article to introduce how to load native c or managed c++ library in asp.net, but doesn’t work for me.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/jorman/archive/2007/08/31/loading-c-assemblies-in-asp-net.aspx -
My developing environment : Windows2012R2 VS2010
- When I was compiling the project, compiler will throw above exception.
Thanks,
Sean

Displaying ffmpeg conversion progress
29 mars 2014, par HiigaranI'm trying to get an admin function made, in which I want to show a basic status of any file conversion(s) that may or may not be happening upon page load. I'm not entirely sure how to proceed with this, so here is what I have at the moment :
exec("ffprobe -v quiet -print_format json -show_format '".$fileNameIn.".".$ext."' > /var/www/resources/ffmpegFormat.log");
exec("/ffmpeg/ffmpeg -loglevel 'verbose' -i '".$fileNameIn.".".$ext."' '".$fileNameOut.".flac' null >/dev/null 2>/var/www/resources/ffmpeg.log &",$ffmpegOutput);My idea is to use ffprobe to output some information about the file to be converted, then use PHP in some way to read the output file (ffmpegFormat.log) for the total file duration. Once read, ffmpeg begins, while outputting to its own file (ffmpeg.log).
I'm not looking for anything fancy, like live updates on the progress, so I'm content with simply having a script read the current duration from the last line of the ffmpeg.log file, compare it to the total duration from the ffmpegFormat.log file, and display a percentage only after a page load/refresh.
I've placed a restriction on conversion to only one file at a time, for the sake of simplifying this progress indicator (and due to a lack of processing power on this computer).
Assuming there's no simpler way than my idea, how can I do this ?

mp4 video converted using ffmpeg works on safari 8 but wont play on safari
12 janvier 2016, par Pratik PawarThe website I am working on has a video upload and play functionality which works like this :
1) Upload a video of any format it will converted to .mp4 format video using ffmpeg with following command
"ffmpeg -i <sourcerawpath> -c:v libx264 -profile:v baseline -level 3.0 <destfullpath>
</destfullpath></sourcerawpath>2) When I try to play these videos from website it works just fine on chrome and safari 8 but when i try to play these videos on safari 9 it show blank screen with following error in browsing console
Failed to load resource : Plug-in handled load
Earlier the mp4 video would not even play on safari 8 but when we added -
profile:v baseline -level 3.0
to ffmpeg command now it works fine. We could not find solution for safari 9.From java we are sending this response :
return Response.ok(video, "video/mp4").header("Aceept-Ranges", "bytes").cacheControl(cc).build();
video --> video
file to be served.Can anyone tell me what is the issue in this case ?
