    I used this to combine a JPG and MP3 into a video :

    ffmpeg -loop 1 -i 1.jpg -i song.mp3 -strict -2 -c:v libx264 -tune stillimage -c:a aac -b:a 192k -pix_fmt yuv420p -shortest out.mp4

    I’m trying to change the .jpg to a .gif, but the gif should loop to the MP3 length

    E.g. if video is 1 minute, but audio is 1 hour. Make video loop throughout for 1 hour of the audio track.

    I use this solution to loop image through the lenght of the audio

    ffmpeg -y -loop 1 -r 6 -i image.jpg -i audio.mp3 -shortest -c:v libx264 -preset ultrafast -tune stillimage -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:a copy output.mp4

    But it doesn’t work for video, replacing image.jpg with video.mp4 will give error no loop found.

    I don’t understand, when in ffmpeg i do ffmpeg -i <input /> i have :

    Video : hevc (Main) (hev1 / 0x31766568), yuv420p(tv), 1920x1080, 4997 kb/s, 30 fps, 30 tbr, 998795.00 tbn, 30 tbc (default)

    it’s show bitrate : 4997 kb/s BUT the size of the file is 114915563 bytes for a duration of 179 secondes. when i do math i have 114915563 / 179 = 641986 bytes/s = 642 kb/s :(

    What did i miss ? how to retrieve the average bitrate of a movie and the peak bitrate of a movie ?
