  • How to run FFmpeg command in Java (Windows)

    I executed the below FFmpeg terminal command in command prompt successfully. But I am unable to execute this command in my Java program. I can execute all other FFmpeg commands which doesn't have double quotation marks in my Java program. Here I have problem only with double quotation marks("...").

    


    ffmpeg -i "concat:C:\\journalism\\videos\\vid1.ts|C:\\journalism\\videos\\vid2.ts" -c copy C:\\journalism\\videos\\output.mp4


    


    I can execute above in command prompt successfully. But I tried as below in my Java code :

    


    Runtime.getRuntime().exec("C:\\ffmpeg\\bin\\ffmpeg -i 'concat:C:\\journalism\\videos\\vid1.ts|C:\\journalism\\videos\\vid2.ts' -c copy C:\\journalism\\videos\\output.mp4");


    


    Even I tried by replaced the double quotation marks with single quotation marks. But did not succeed.

    


    Can anyone please help me to get out of this issue ?

  • How to convert MPEG2-TTS to MPEG2-TS format to playback using ffplay

    I know some OSS such as ffmpeg or gstreamer don't support to play-back MPEG2-TTS stream.
Then, I tried to convert 192 bytes TTS packet to 188 bytes TS packet by deleting first 4 bytes like :

    


    def conv_tts2ts(rtp_payload):

    payload_len = len(rtp_payload)
    if payload_len % 192 != 0:
        raise

    pkt_num = int(payload_len / 192)
    ts_data = bytearray()
    for i in range(pkt_num):
        spos = 192 * i
        epos = spos + 192
        tmp = rtp_payload[spos:epos]
        ts_data.extend(tmp[4:])

    return ts_data

# after this, send ts_data with RTP header received from MPEG2-TTS streamer via UDP/IP.



    


    However, ffplay and ffprobe don't reaction.

    


    I expect to be able to play-back using ffplay as MPEG2-TS format.
Please tell me how to convert TTS to TS in order to deocde by ffmpeg ?

    aac_latm : Align inband PCE to the start of the payload

    A strict reading of the spec seems to imply that it should be aligned to
    
the start of the element instance tag, but that would break all of the
    
samples with PCEs.
    

    It seems like a well formed LATM stream should have its PCE in the ASC
    
rather than inband.
