MPEG Encoding library for WINDOWS PHONE 8 [on hold]
18 avril 2015, par Ali JeyI am developing a Windows phone app that takes pictures to create Time-lapse Videos.
However I’ve noticed that there aren’t many libraries for Encoding frames into MPEG format for Windows phone platform. My question is this :
- Is there any library at all to encode FFMPEG videos inside Windows phone apps ?
- if not, How can I make one in C# ? (Yes I know it’s going to be hard.)
Where should I Start from ? (please pay attention that the references that I can make inside windows phone app projects are limited !)
Thanks in advance for any help.

Fast method for adding text watermark to only first 25 frames using ffmpeg
4 février 2023, par SarkarI am looking to add a text watermark to the first 25 frames of a video using ffmpeg. I have already tried the following command but it takes a long time as it processes the entire video :

ffmpeg -i input.mp4 -vf "drawtext=fontfile=arial.ttf: text='Watermark': fontsize=24: fontcolor=white: x=(w-text_w)/2: y=(h-text_h)/2: enable='between(n,0,24)'" -c:a copy output.mp4

I need the encoding to be fast as I plan to make this change on the fly when streaming the video to the user. Is there a way to do this efficiently, such that the rest of the video remains unedited ?

Most time effective web format for converting h.265
29 avril 2020, par IamRichterSo, I configured my ipcams to send event videos to a FTP server that saves it locally, and run a script that convert every video into something that can be opened in a generic browser, then send it to a S3 (I am using pyftpdlib + my modifications).

But i don't think that I am doing it in the most effective way. On my computer (a fairly good laptop) it usually takes half the video playtime to convert into a mp4 using a generic ffmpeg command that i simple copy and paste from stackoverflow. I tried to look up the documentation, but i simple don't have the multimedia background to understand it.

What would be the most time effective format and how to convert a raw h.265 video to it ?
