  • HTML5 audio and video support

    13 avril 2011, par

    MediaSPIP uses HTML5 video and audio tags to play multimedia files, taking advantage of the latest W3C innovations supported by modern browsers.
    The MediaSPIP player used has been created specifically for MediaSPIP and can be easily adapted to fit in with a specific theme.
    For older browsers the Flowplayer flash fallback is used.
    MediaSPIP allows for media playback on major mobile platforms with the above (...)

  • Heroku : FFMpeg installed but php worker can't find it

    4 décembre 2019, par Greco Jonathan

    Context

    I’ve a RabbitMQ’s queue that contains AMQPMessage, those messages are referencing a video that needs to be treated (cut essentially and encoded in x264 also)

    Here’s the code that cause the issue (pretty straightforward)

           $ffprobe = FFProbe::create([
               'ffmpeg.binaries'  => '/usr/bin/ffmpeg',
               'ffprobe.binaries' => '/usr/bin/ffprobe',
           ]);

    Error Message

    TL ;DR :
    Error: "Unable to load FFProbe"

    [2019-12-03 14:55:07] messenger.ERROR : Error thrown while handling message App\Api\Message\AMQPvideoFFMPEG. Sending for retry #1 using 1000 ms delay. Configuration & tests

    On Heroku I’ve 2 dynos :

    - web $(composer config bin-dir)/heroku-php-nginx -C config/packages/dev/heroku_nginx.conf public/
    - worker php bin/console messenger:consume ffmpeg

    On this platform, I’ve also 3 buildpacks, look below, with this specific buildpack :

    with a custom buildpack for ffmpeg

    To make sure that all is available here’s the results of my checks :

    This code is working well on another platform (handled by kubernetes), so it may need some adjustments with heroku. But can’t find it.

    Why this error since my configuration is not showing any missconfigurations ? What am I missing here ?

  • FFMPEG Without Headers is Causing Video To Be Height 0X0

    21 novembre 2022, par Devin Dixon

    I am grabbing a stream from X11 and streaming it to other sources like Node Media Server and Twitch. Except, I get audio only with no video and the resolution size says 0X0.

    My ffmpeg is command is this :

    I've noticed there are several errors the headers going out. For VAAPI, how do I set resolution header ?

  • Compiling ffmpeg for Android using Linux

    1er juillet 2015, par VEP10

    I’d like to test the ijkplayer for android project according to this :
    https://github.com/bbcallen/ijkplayer/blob/master/README.md
    When I am compiling the ffmpeg (./compile-ffmpeg.sh) at the "configurate ffmpeg" phase I get the following message : arm-linux-androideabi-gcc is unable to create an executable file. C compiler test failed.
    This part of the compile-ffmpeg.sh file :

    echo "\n--------------------"
    echo "[*] configurate ffmpeg"
    echo "--------------------"
    cd $FF_SOURCE
    if [ -f "./config.h" ]; then
       echo 'reuse configure'
    else
       ./configure $FF_CFG_FLAGS \
           --extra-cflags="$FF_CFLAGS $FF_EXTRA_CFLAGS" \
           --extra-ldflags="$FF_DEP_LIBS $FF_EXTRA_LDFLAGS"
       make clean
    fi

    At the end of the config.log file I found the problem :

    zoompan_filter_deps='swscale'

    I am sure that the assembler knows the cortex-a8 cpu option. The problem is anywhere else.

    Environment :

    Ubuntu 14.04

    arm-linux-androideabi-4.8
