• create mono and stereo stream in the same file with ffmpeg ?

  I have a film with 2 mono audio stream of avi file.

  I would like to create a third file, with one stereo stream from the 2 mono stream, and one mono stream, addition of the 2 monos audio source...
  here’s the code to make mono stream :

  ffmpeg -i input.avi-ac 1 mono.avi

  here’s the code to make an stereo stream from 2 mono stream :

  ffmpeg -i input.avi-filter_complex "[0:1][0:2] amerge=inputs=2" -c:a pcm_s16le output.avi

  How could I merge those 2codes to make one audio file with one stero track, and one mono track ?

• Ffmpeg to add watermark and username to videos like tiktok

  I am trying to use ffmpeg to add watermark and username (dynamic input) to videos same as tiktok.

  


  Currently I have the following command which adds an image to video but the transition is moving from left to right, my goal to make it appear in random positions as tiktok, and also to add username under the logo but not sure how to make it happen.

  


  ffmpeg -i testvideo.mp4 -i logo.png -filter_complex "[1][0]scale2ref=w=iw/10:h=ow/mdar[logo][main];[main][logo]overlay=x='mod(t\,10)/10*W':y='if(lt(mod(t+2\,8)\,4)\,H-h-H*20/100\,H*20/100)'" -vcodec libx264 -crf 28 -preset faster -tune film  output_video_test.mp4


  


  I tried to use rand() function but received the following error

  


  Unknown function in 'rand(...)'


  


  How can I make log appear in random places and add dynamic user input (username) same as tiktok using ffmpeg ?
And if not possible can I achieve the end goal with other technology ?

  


• FFmpeg encoding slow for 4K HDR content

  When processing 4K input with the following configuration it is taking upwards of 2 minutes to process a 35s, 60fps, 4K HDR clip recorded from an iPhone. Is this the expected performance or is there an inefficiency within the configuration that is causing this ?

  


  In comparison, running this configuration on a 35s, 30fps, 4K non-HDR clip, only takes about 20 seconds.
