Creating farms of unique websites
13 avril 2011, parMediaSPIP platforms can be installed as a farm, with a single "core" hosted on a dedicated server and used by multiple websites.
This allows (among other things) : implementation costs to be shared between several different projects / individuals rapid deployment of multiple unique sites creation of groups of like-minded sites, making it possible to browse media in a more controlled and selective environment than the major "open" (...) -
Contribute to a better visual interface

ffmpeg concatenate videos - what metadata needs to match [duplicate]
13 juillet 2022, par yarricharI am trying to concatenate videos that can come from a variety of sources.

I was just using the -f concat option, but this runs into issues when the formats don't watch.

I can use the filter_complex option (as described in the wiki - https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Concatenate) but this is much slower.

What metadata (codec, bitrate, fps, etc) needs to match so that I can use the faster -f concat option to join the videos ? My understanding here is not great atm.

create multiple movie thumbnails using ffmpeg (one at a time) failing
2 septembre 2013, par Christopher JohnsonI'm using this small bit of code to create thumbnails of videos being uploaded to my site :
public static void GetThumbnail(string video, string thumbnail)
{
var cmd = "ffmpeg -itsoffset -1 -i " + '"' + video + '"' + " -vcodec mjpeg -vframes 1 -an -f rawvideo -s 320x240 " + '"' + thumbnail + '"';
var startInfo = new ProcessStartInfo
{
WindowStyle = ProcessWindowStyle.Hidden,
FileName = "cmd.exe",
Arguments = "/C " + cmd
};
var process = new Process
{
StartInfo = startInfo
};
process.Start();
}I'm uploading the videos one at a time asynchronously. The first video thumbnail gets created just fine, but each subsequent one does not get created. I've noticed that if I try to delete subsequent videos from the file system, it says it can not delete them because they are in use by ffmpeg. I can delete the first one that finished processing just fine. I have to kill the ffmpeg process from task manager for all of the others that it's holding open. Why is ffmpeg only working the first time through and then holding the video's open in an open process afterwards ?
I also tried creating multiple thumbnails one at a time from the command prompt and that worked fine (the process does not stay open either).
What am I missing in my c# code to make sure the process finishes, and then terminates ?

Loop/Batch file for extracting all .aac from .m4a files in folder
29 décembre 2015, par MrDesperateI’m desperate. I need to extract the .aac stream from 1749 .m4a files with ffmpeg, but I can’t get a batch file working for me and it would take years to do it manually. This is what I use for single files : "ffmpeg -i example.m4a -vn -c:a copy example.aac"
I don’t want to convert the files. I only want to extract the .aac audio stream (don’t wanna lose more quality).
"ffmpeg -i *.m4a -vn -c:a copy *.aac" isn’t working and I don’t know how to use for in loops since I’m not a programmer. All loops I found on the internet aren’t working for me.
OS : Windows 7 Professional.
I appreciate every help.
