    L’outil MédiaSPIP traite aussi les média transférés par la voie FTP. Si vous préférez déposer par cette voie, récupérez les identifiants d’accès vers votre site MédiaSPIP et utilisez votre client FTP favori.

  • Can FFmpeg show only media info and encoding progress/statistics ? [on hold]

    Is there a way to force FFmpeg to only show media info (including format, codec, duration, etc) and encoding progress/statistics in output console ?

    Currently I am using these commands :

    -v quiet -stats

    However, it only shows encoding progress/statistics. I am wondering if I can add media information SPECIFICALLY duration of the input/source file into this.

    How to delete part of the media content end of the file while writing by FFMPEG ?

    • The file is being writing by write_packet
    • The media data is end of the file
    • Using FFMPEG 2.8

    Writing packet at this moment like this :

    I need to delete 7 8 9 and the fd pointing 6 and ready to write the next one.

    My live-streaming system streams media in following step :

    1. Server loads source (from a file, webcam,...)
    2. Server decodes this source by using ffmpeg to get audio and video stream in raw format
    3. Server encodes audio and video to aac and libx264 and then stores them with [AVPacket] (http://ffmpeg.org/doxygen/0.6/avpacket_8c.html)
    4. Then server transmits these packets to client
    5. Client receive these packets, then calculates pts and dts and then display them using libsdl. (following this [tutorial] (http://dranger.com/ffmpeg/tutorial01.html).

    And now, I want to change in client. I want when client receive audio and video packets, It will stream them under http stream, rtp stream or somethings like those to a player such as windows media player, flash player.... Anyone can helps me ? Thanks a lot. :)
