• Get middle line from the output of a command

    14 décembre 2022, par Kishore T

    The following command list the duration of I-frames present in a video file.

    ffprobe -i ./test.mp4 -v quiet -skip_frame nokey -select_streams v:0 -of flat -show_entries frame=pkt_pts_time | awk -F'=' '{gsub(/"/, "", $NF); print $NF}'

    I'm trying to get the duration of I-frame that is in middle. The output of the above command will be like

    0.066667
2.066667
4.066667
9.066667
14.066667
19.066667
24.066667

    How do I get the middle value ? Here, I would like to get 9.066667 as the result. If the number of lines is even (say I've 2 values), I need to get the 1st value.

    I tried using wc to get the number of lines and sed to print the middle line. But, this straightforward solution required me to run the command twice. I tried piping the command, but I didn't find any solution for storing the value in a variable (from the wc command) and using the same in another command (sed command) while retaining the piped output.

  • getting a `InValid URL` when I send a voice message

    9 septembre 2023, par Ammad

    When I try to send voice messages I always get invalid url error with. I am using whisper to convert the audio to text but for some reason I cannot seem to pass the file to the whisper. It worked when I used this in java script but not in typescript for some reason

    async function createFile(path: string): Promise<file> {
  const response = await fetch(path);
  const data = await response.blob();

  // Extract file name from the path
  const fileName = path.split('/').pop() || 'unknown';

  // Extract file extension and determine MIME type
  const fileExtension = fileName.split('.').pop()?.toLowerCase() || '';
  const mimeTypes: Record = {
    'mp3': 'audio/mpeg',
    // Add more mappings as needed
  };
  const fileType = mimeTypes[fileExtension] || 'application/octet-stream';

  const metadata = {
    type: fileType
  };

  return new File([data], fileName, metadata);
}

async function sendAudioForTranscription(file_path:string) {
  try {

    // const audioData = fs.createReadStream(file_path);
    const audioFile = await createFile(file_path)

    const response = await openai.createTranscription(audioFile, "whisper-1");
    const transcribed = response.data.text;

    return transcribed;
  } catch (error) {
    console.error("Error transcribing the audio:", error);
    return null;
  }
}
</file>

    I am new to this so any help would be appreciated. This is the error

  • ffmpeg on windows mobile with C#

    19 septembre 2017, par Riv

    I need to work with FFmpeg for windows mobile with C#, in fact I want build player for .m4b,.m4a files. I know that the TCPMP is exist, but I want to make my own.
    So I want to use .Net, and I have some questions :

    1. If I use some C# FFmpeg wrappers, for example TaoFramework, will it work on windows mobile(in case if I use FFmpeg lib compiled for windows mobile) ?

    2. In FFmpeg wiki I found this

    Once you have compiled, or downloaded,
    the Windows DLLs for FFmpeg, you can
    use .Net Platform Invoke (PI) to
    access the functions in the libraries
    libavformat and libavcodec.
    Link to source...

    But I don’t know how can I use it ? I tried to make it with dll that I had downloaded from http://ffmpeg.arrozcru.org/autobuilds/. Maybe I need to compile ffmpeg by myself for this option ?

    And last question is - what is libavcodec ? When I downloaded shared build, I got avcodec-52.dll, avfilter-1.dll, ffmpeg.exe, but I coudn’t find libavcodec.dll, or it’s just alias ?
