    The zip file provided here only contains the sources of MediaSPIP in its standalone version.
    To get a working installation, you must manually install all-software dependencies on the server.

  • Multilang : améliorer l’interface pour les blocs multilingues

    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

  • How can I really pick up the correct format when storing incoming stream ?

    I want to re-mux a incoming h264 stream. But how could I pick the correct AVOutputFormat for the AVFormatContext ?

    Currently I used :

    AVOutputFormat* fmt = av_guess_format(NULL, "xxx.avi", NULL);
    

    
// Open the context
    
//---------------------------------------------------------------------
    
outFormatCtx = ffmpeg::avformat_alloc_context();
    

    
//Set the output format
    
//----------------------------------------------------------------------
    
outFormatCtx->oformat = fmt;

    And everything works fine.
    However, if I change the first line to :
    av_guess_format("h264",NULL, NULL) ;
    the recorded stream cannot be played because of bad header/tailer.

    Is there a more smart way of picking the correct AVOutputFormat to be used ?

  • Automatically correct a/v sync with ffmpeg and mediainfo

    I have a bunch of .ts files that don’t have the audio synced by 30ms. Out of curiosity, I ran mediainfo on one of the files, and it said (among many other things) :

    Delay relative to video                  : -23ms

    I then set the audio delay to -23ms, and it synced up almost perfectly.

    I’m currently doing ffmpeg -i in.mp4 -itsoffset delay_in_milliseconds -i in.mp4 -map 0:0 -map 1:1 -acodec copy -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc -vcodec copy out.mp4 to convert to mp4 and add an audio delay (strangely, however not adding an audio delay causes mediainfo to report nothing for Delay relative to video in the final mp4 file.) This works, however I have a lot of files to do and would take me hours.

    Is it possible for ffmpeg to automatically correct the a/v sync ?

  • The correct way to use FFMPEG in JAVA

    I have not been able to find lots of information of how to use FFMPEG commands in my JAVA code.

    I understand how to execute FFMPEG commands through the terminal, however if I want to use FFMPEG commands in my JAVA code how should I go about it ?

    I saw an example of using Java.lang.Runtime class. But if I do it this way, would that not require the computer using my JAVA application to have FFMPEG installed on their computer ?

    In short I want to be able to create a JAVA program that has FFMPEG methods available without having the need to have FFMPEG installed.
    Is this possible ?
