    MediaSPIP 0.1 beta est la première version de MediaSPIP décrétée comme "utilisable".
    Le fichier zip ici présent contient uniquement les sources de MediaSPIP en version standalone.
    Pour avoir une installation fonctionnelle, il est nécessaire d’installer manuellement l’ensemble des dépendances logicielles sur le serveur.

  • Librairies et logiciels spécifiques aux médias

    Pour un fonctionnement correct et optimal, plusieurs choses sont à prendre en considération.
    Il est important, après avoir installé apache2, mysql et php5, d’installer d’autres logiciels nécessaires dont les installations sont décrites dans les liens afférants. Un ensemble de librairies multimedias (x264, libtheora, libvpx) utilisées pour l’encodage et le décodage des vidéos et sons afin de supporter le plus grand nombre de fichiers possibles.   • is Cloud API's needed for Video Conversion to save huge time ?

    I have seen a couple of ffmpeg software’s which converts a video x format (1.8 GB) to y format (1.8 GB) in less than 90 seconds

    For example IDealshare VideoGo

    When I work with ffmpeg in the terminal, these sort of conversions takes atleast one hour. Moreover, when I compare to the above software, am facing a very very big number interms of time.

    May be, do you think for these fast conversions, we must take help from third party cloud API’s (software’s) such as amazon elastic transcoder etc etc.

    Any pointers would be really appreciable !!

  • Convert a file using FFMPEG and upload to AWS S3 Nodejs

    Hey everyone so quick question I want to allow a user to upload a WebM file and convert it using FFmpeg to mp4. I am using Nodejs for the backend and already have a route that uploads files to Amazon S3 file storage. But let's say I wanted to send that file and not store it anywhere but convert it to mp4 from the request itself is that possible ? If not is it possible to take an s3 file URL and convert it to mp4 ? Can anybody point me in the right direction as to what is possible and the best way to do this ?

  • How to send ffmpeg based HTTP stream to CloudFront [on hold]

    I have a live streaming server, where media is available as HTTP / RTMP / HLS format.
    I am able to access it and play from my desktop using following links.

     rtmp://52.xx.xx.192/live/tarun1 (RTMP)
    
 http://52.xx.xx.192:8080/hls/movie.m3u8 (HLS)
    
 http://52.xx.xx.190:7090/stream (HTTP)

    I want to forward any of the above streams to CloudFront with these steps.
