  • ffmpeg closes with return code 137

25 septembre 2014, par Adi Ulici

I am using ffmpeg to convert videos and about 66% of the times doesn’t do it’s job until the end. It simply gets killed, closes before it ends the job, and returns "137" instead of "0".

I can’t seem to find anywhere some information about this return code. Does anyone know some tips or where can I find further guidance ? Thanks

  • ffmpeg error creating thumbnail different frame rate

    18 décembre 2012, par KJS

When using this at the command line I get very bad images with only grey or stripes in them.
It seems "the frame rate differs from container frame rate : 59.94 (60000/1001) -> 29.97 (30000/1001)".

Is there any way I can fix this in the ffmpeg statement ?

    ffmpeg -ss 00:00:10 -i FILENAME.mp4 -vframes 1 FILENAME.jpg

This is the output I get :
