  What I trying to do is, save video :

  I searched and similar topics tell me to set permission to my files and folders, I set user and also set 755 to files and folders but still I have this error and no success, any idea ?

• Using FFMPEG to save 2 seconds slices, every 5 seconds interval [closed]

  What I want to do is to save 2 seconds, skip 5 seconds and keep going until the end of the video.
It's ok to encode as long its mp4, since I will use the slices on Vegas.
The end resolt will be a bunch of random 2 seconds segments videos, from a larger file.

  


  I can cut a slice

  


  ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -ss 00:00:00 -t 00:00:02 -async 1 -strict -2 slice.mp4


  


  I need to loop it and also move the 5 seconds interval every pass.

  


• If multiple channels, merge then take sample length from audio file and save it to s3

  I am using transloadit to extract the audio from a video file, which is then saved to S3.
  This works great, but I wanted to know how to :

  1. check if the file has multiple channels and then squash it inot one as per https://transloadit.com/demos/audio-encoding/merging-multiple-audio-streams/ - do I need to check for this or do i default to use this robot ?

  2. extract a small sample from the audio file - and save this as a separate file.

  For example, I have a 2h audio file from which I want to take 5% of the length and save this as sample.mp3

  In ffmpeg, i can cut :

  ffmpeg -ss 0 -t 30 -i original.mp3 sample.mp3

  but I am unsure how to chain this workflow, here is what i have thus far :
