  • Automated installation script of MediaSPIP

    25 avril 2011, par

To overcome the difficulties mainly due to the installation of server side software dependencies, an "all-in-one" installation script written in bash was created to facilitate this step on a server with a compatible Linux distribution.
You must have access to your server via SSH and a root account to use it, which will install the dependencies. Contact your provider if you do not have that.
The documentation of the use of this installation script is available here.

  • Support audio et vidéo HTML5

    10 avril 2011

  • Live audio streaming from IP camera/rtsp to website

16 décembre 2018, par Peter Pihlmann Pedersen

I have a Dahua IP camera with a microphone. I would like to get the audio stream playing on a website like a live radio.

I have a raspberry pi which I was planning to use with ffmpeg, but I haven’t had much success in bridging the gap between that and my website to form an audio stream.

    • Can this be done via sftp/ftp with mp3 files and some fancy php/javascript to play like a live radio ?

    • Do I need to use another service ? (would like to minimise costs as much as possible !)

    Thanks !

  • Restreaming video containing two languages live with ffmpeg

    9 novembre 2012, par user1810837

I have a project where i need to restream a live stream which has two languages setup on the audio.
Spanish on left and English on right

    The stream mapping is :

    Stream #0:0: Video: h264 ([7][0][0][0] / 0x0007), yuv420p, 512x288 [SAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], q=2-31, 1k tbn, 1k tbc
    Stream #0:1: Audio: mp3 ([2][0][0][0] / 0x0002), 44100 Hz, stereo, s16, 18 kb/s

I need to restream this back live with just the English from the right side or just spanish from the left side, I tried looking everywhere but did not find any type of solution .

Since this needs to be done live, I can't be using other programs to separate video and audio to get it done.

This needs to be done through ffmpeg and I wonder if it even capable of doing so with original built or it would need some custom modification.

  • Can you force ffmpeg hls demuxing to start from the beginning in a live hls stream ?

    13 octobre 2016, par jdramer

When remuxing an hls stream into an mp4 file I use the following command.

    ffmpeg -i "http://example.com/master.m3u8" -c copy -bsf:a aac_adtstoasc output.mp4

This works fine for VOD content, but if the stream is live it starts from the live position, rather than the very first segment in the m3u8 file. Does the applehttp demuxer have any parameters that would force starting from the first segment ?
