  • How to fix "Cannot find a valid font for the family Sans' while adding text on image using react-native-ffmpeg

    13 mai 2024, par coffee

    I am trying to add text on image using the code below
RNFFmpeg
.execute(`-y -i ${input} -vf "drawtext=text='Hello World':fontcolor=white:fontsize=75:x=0:y=0" ${output}`) ;

    I am not using any custom font but still get this error.

    Error :

    Note :

    I also tried using a custom font but not able to do it.
When I use RNFFmpegConfig.setFontDirectory('../../assets/fonts') function and with it the following code to add text on image
RNFFmpeg
.execute(`-y -i ${input} -vf "drawtext=text='Hello World':fontfile='../../assets/fonts/MyFont.ttf':fontcolor=white:fontsize=75:x=0:y=0" ${output}`) ;

    It gives me the same error.

    How can I fix this issue.

  • FFMPEG stabilization not use 100% cpu

    20 octobre 2017, par MrJoes

    I have a fast processor Ryzen 1600 up to 3.7 GHz.
    But I have a problem with stabilization from the algorithm :

    https://www.epifocal.net/blog/video-stabilization-with-ffmpeg
    It is slow and does not use 100% CPU - usually uses only 30-40%.

    Can it be improved, indicated by the algorithm that it has to load the processor more to get more out of it and to move the material faster ?

    I have to do more than 4,000 GB of material. Every minute is gold. For now, all the material is going to be done by 4 MSCs ! so it can not be after all ...

  • FFmpeg:A General error in an external library occurred when using FFmpeg6.1's avcodec_send_frame

    4 janvier 2024, par MMingY

    I have the same code that can successfully push streams (rtmp) in the environment, but in the Android environment, I fail with an error message. The error message method is avcodec_send_frame in ffmpeg6.1. By the way, I compiled the FFmpeg library on Android myself, and I downloaded the official package for Win11. I will provide the code for Android and Win11 below.

    I suspect it's an issue with the ffmpeg library I compiled, so I searched for a step to compile ffmpeg on GitHub, but the package it compiled still has the same problem. I don't know what to do now.
