• Raspberry Pi and FFMpeg live streaming video to backend Node.js server, but how do I deliver it to the front end ?

  I'm attempting this setup to live stream video from a Raspberry Pi to a publicly available website, and from the backend server using Node.js and Express, I would like to serve it to the front end with minimal latency available to many viewers (will be hosted somewhere like Netlify to handle distribution).

  


  WebRTC is too complex for my use case and timeframe. HLC appears to have too high a latency as I need <4s consistently. I would like to something compatible with Node.js. I am a beginner in this domain, familiar only with general programming and web development.

  I’m using a C++ FFmpeg wrapper for Java (org.bytedeco.javacpp). This works perfectly on a Windows machine (my development machine) but throws this error when ran on Linux (Amazon Web Services Elastic Beanstalk) :

  I’ve been troubleshooting for the past 2 days and have tried the following to fix the issue :

  • upgrade to Linux to 2.4
  • downgrading javacpp to 1.2.1
  • running mvn clean
  • running mvn -U
  • deleting contents of /.m2/ and redownloading dependencies
  • various combinations of dependency versions
  • git clone on a Linux VM & running mvn install there

  When looking further into the issue, I stumbled upon documentation for avformat$AVFormatContext as it’s in the stack trace posted above (6th line). The documentation for a C++ class named AVFormatContext. Whenever I attempt to view the class in Eclipse, it says Source Not Found.

  My question : could this problem possibly be caused by the C++ libraries on my Linux VM ? None of the above solutions fixed it so this is my only hypothesis as of now.

• I cant install jmf-2_1_1e-windows-i586 on windows 7 32 bit.

  I am trying to install Java Media Framework in windows 7 to use to develop a video and audio conferencing desktop application but the response i get is, its not compatible when i install with troubleshoot option. Its windows 7 32 bit. Although Java Media Framework is old i prefer Java Media Framework over Free Media for Java because it has lot of documentation online and in books. My question is How can i make jmf-2_1_1e-windows-i586 compatible with the my OS.

  I tried installing without troubleshoot option and the installation starts but after unpacking the package it remains in the running processes but never continues.
