    Accéder à la configuration et ajouter des langues prises en compte
    Afin de configurer la prise en compte de nouvelles langues, il est nécessaire de se rendre dans la partie "Administrer" du site.
    De là, dans le menu de navigation, vous pouvez accéder à une partie "Gestion des langues" permettant d’activer la prise en compte de nouvelles langues.
    Chaque nouvelle langue ajoutée reste désactivable tant qu’aucun objet n’est créé dans cette langue. Dans ce cas, elle devient grisée dans la configuration et (...)

    On ne revendique pas d’être les seuls à faire ce que l’on fait ... et on ne revendique surtout pas d’être les meilleurs non plus ... Ce que l’on fait, on essaie juste de le faire bien, et de mieux en mieux...
    La liste suivante correspond à des logiciels qui tendent peu ou prou à faire comme MediaSPIP ou que MediaSPIP tente peu ou prou à faire pareil, peu importe ...
    On ne les connais pas, on ne les a pas essayé, mais vous pouvez peut être y jeter un coup d’oeil.

  • FFmpeg + JWplayer + Mp4 fails

    Im using JWplayer HTML5 6.5.3609, and the newest FFmpeg. This is how I set it up :

    this is a direct access, if I call the MP4 file directly, browser can play it. I create this MP4 from standalone images :

    ffmpeg -f image2 -r 1 -i img%d.png x.mp4

    and no joy. I even tried to add some codecs :

    -vcodec libx264 -acodec libfaac

    still not work, I got this :

    error loading media: file could not be played

    the joke is, I tried it with FLV and it did worked... VLC player can play the MP4 file too

  • Is it possible to pregenerate m3u8 file ? (the playlist only) and skip the transcoding ?

    I am trying to create a media server, and only want to transcode video when it's played. However I need the playlist in advance so that the client play can load the video metadata. Is this possible ?

    


    I want to do something like this :

    


    Client -> GET m3u8 (pregenerated in advance)
Client -> GET ts -> Transcode only this single ts file
Client -> GET ts -> Transcode only this single ts file
Client -> GET ts -> Transcode only this single ts file


    


    I don't want to transcode the entire video at once, I want to be able to only transcode the part that is requested.

    


    Is this possible ? Also open to using MPEG-DASH instead if needed.

    


  • Convert audio from old video game

    I have some audiofiles from an old video game in a very rare format,
    22050 hz, 2 channel, 4 bit, PCM (not ADPCM).

    Is there any tool around to convert that in any modern format ?
    I tried ffplay -ac 2 -acodec adpcm_ima_apc -i $audiofile but that did not work out (it played back, but in a terrible quality)
