    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

    MédiaSPIP ne modifie jamais le document original mis en ligne.
    Pour chaque document mis en ligne il effectue deux opérations successives : la création d’une version supplémentaire qui peut être facilement consultée en ligne tout en laissant l’original téléchargeable dans le cas où le document original ne peut être lu dans un navigateur Internet ; la récupération des métadonnées du document original pour illustrer textuellement le fichier ;

  • Compiling ffmpeg : how to force it to link to a specific libx264 ?

    I'm trying to compile the newest version of ffmpeg (in CentOS 5.3). I first downloaded the latest version of libx264, compiled it with --enable-static and installed it in /usr/local/. However, when I then compile ffmpeg I get this error message :

    libavcodec/libavcodec.a(libx264.o): In function `X264_init':
    
/usr/local/src/ffmpeg/libavcodec/libx264.c:494: undefined reference to `x264_encoder_open_125'
    
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    
make: *** [ffmpeg_g] Error 1

    Searching on the net, I see that this can happen if ffmpeg is picking up an older version of libx264, which I indeed have (in /usr/lib) and can't uninstall because other pieces of software depend on it. The question is then : how can I force ffmpeg to link against the libx264 that I want ? The last time I had to do this (admittedly a year ago) I also had 2 versions of libx264, and I don't remember having to do anything special. Is there a configure switch that I'm forgetting ?

    I have some videos at 1080p 60fps.

    


    These videos are with level=50 and my TV plays only videos up to level=41, so I want to convert my videos using ffmpeg and hardware acceleration.

    


    I have a Windows 10 machine with ffmpeg and Geforce 2060, so I try run below command :

    


    ffmpeg -i video.mp4 -vcodec h264_nvenc -preset slow -level 4.1 output.mp4


    


    but I get this error :

    


    [h264_nvenc @ 000001dd43cd07c0] InitializeEncoder failed : invalid param (8) : Invalid Level.
Error initializing output stream 0:0 — Error while opening encoder for output stream #0:0 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height

    


    When I try to run the same command above using "-level 4.2" or above, the encode process works ! But it is useless for me, because I really need "-level 4.1".

    


    I noticed that if use libx264 instead of h264_nvenc, the encode process accepts "-level 4.1", but it take too long to complete (I want to enjoy hardware acceleration instead of CPU).

    


    How can I force h264_nvenc to accept "level=4.1" ?
