Il crée des "médias", à savoir : un "média" est un article au sens SPIP créé automatiquement lors du téléversement d’un document qu’il soit audio, vidéo, image ou textuel ; un seul document ne peut être lié à un article dit "média" ;

Ffmpeg conversion from RTSP to RTMP stops transmitting video in a Odroid C4 device
14 mars 2023, par JuanNWe hace a video camera (transmitting using RTSP) connected to an Odroid C4. We want to send the streaming to a OvenMediaEngine using RTMP. For us to achieve this goal, we run this command :

ffmpeg -rtsp_transport tcp -nostdin -i "rtsp://admin:xxxxxx@aaa.aaa.a.aaa:ppp//h264Preview_01_sub" -threads 1 -cod
ec copy -f flv -flvflags no_duration_filesize -an "rtmp://xxxxx.xxxx.xx:pppp/xxxxxxx"

Apparently the transmition is fine but, after a while (this "while" ranges from a few hours to a few days) the ffmpeg command stops working, with the following message

We thought at first this was due to the limitation of ffmpeg when it is run on background (that's the reason for the
nostdin
option), but it keeps on failing. Looking online, we also found that it could be some issue of the file size (hence theno_duration_filesize option
).

The weird part is the process is still running (if you check it using a
top
orps
command) when it fails, but it has to be rebooted to resume the transmision.

Any clues will be most welcome !
Thank you.

Visual Studio can't detect FFmpeg
19 avril 2023, par JonathanI'm using Visual Studio Community 2022 for a Python 3 project that involves using FFmpeg. However, when I try to run my code, I get the following error message :

RuntimeWarning: Couldn't find ffmpeg or avconv - defaulting to ffmpeg, but may not work

I have FFmpeg installed and added to my PATH, but it still doesn't seem to be working. Here are the steps I've taken so far to try to fix this :

-

-
I tried installing the FFmpeg pip package, but it didn't change anything.

-
I searched for solutions on sites like learn.microsoft.com and
stackoverflow.com, but I haven't been able to find anything that works for me. This question also didn't answer my question

-
I also asked for help in Visual Studio Code, but I wasn't able to find a solution there either.

I would appreciate any guidance on how to fix this issue. Thank you !

Using ffmpeg to read mp4 file from stdin and extract image is failing with "Invalid data found when processing input"
16 mars 2023, par jsindosUsing ffmpeg, I'm trying to read an mp4 file from stdin, and save the last frame of the file to jpg.

cat PXL_20221118_051057924.TS.mp4 | ffmpeg -sseof -3 -i - -f mp4 -update 1 -q:v 1 last.jpg

The command works fine when not running from stdin.

When running from stdin, an empty file is created, with the following error message :

[mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0x7fcb4d0041c0] stream 1, offset 0x2eaee0d: partial file
pipe:: Invalid data found when processing input

I've posted the full output below.
