  • Multilang : améliorer l’interface pour les blocs multilingues

    Multilang est un plugin supplémentaire qui n’est pas activé par défaut lors de l’initialisation de MediaSPIP.
    Après son activation, une préconfiguration est mise en place automatiquement par MediaSPIP init permettant à la nouvelle fonctionnalité d’être automatiquement opérationnelle. Il n’est donc pas obligatoire de passer par une étape de configuration pour cela.

  • pyAudioAnalysis to recognize the beginning of a video

    I have a video beginning with a 5,4,3,2,1 beeping (similar to : https://youtu.be/67lnjV6SrFw). the sound is recorded alongside ambiant sounds. Using ffmpeg I can easily extract the audio.
I am basically asking two questions :

    


      

    1. Can I use ffmpeg-python's ffmpeg.input('file.mp4').audio as an input to perform pyAudioAnalysis's functions on ?

      2. 


    2. Can pyAudioAnalysis recognize the beeping (i.e. I can input an audio of the beeping and the audio of the video) to find the time in which the beeping ends ?

      3.

  • ffmpeg how to do the "earrape" sound effect

    I was wondering how to do the earrape effect using ffmpeg where the audio just sounds completely destroyed. Here's an example :

    I've tried a bunch of combinations of different commands on ffmpeg and the closest I've gotten is the following (where I use the superequalizer and then make the volume super high) :

    I'm using a python wrapper but here's the command line equivalent :

    



    ffmpeg -i shark.wav -af "superequalizer=1b=20:2b=20:3b=20:4b=20:5b=20:6b=20:7b=20:8b=20:9b=20:10b=20:11b=20:12b=20:13b=20:14b=20:15b=20:16b=20:17b=20:18b=20,volume=10" output_earrape.wav


    



    The problem with the above is that it doesn't do anything for files that aren't already super loud (such as recorded audio) and most of the time the audio actually just ends up clipping and then being super soft.

    



    Does anyone have suggestions on how to do this effect ? Thanks !

    


  • Record Sound on Ubuntu Docker Image

    I would like record audio with ffmpeg when I capture my screen. The error I’m getting when using alsa is that is that my image does not have a sound card -f alsa -ac 2 -i hw:0

    Here is how to reproduce on a fresh version of Ubuntu

    Start a session in a new ubuntu docker image.

    docker pull ubuntu
    
docker run -it --rm ubuntu

    Setup alsa (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture)

    apt-get update
    
apt-get install alsa-utils

    List the sound cards

    aplay -l
    
# aplay: device_list:268: no soundcards found...

    And playing this sound will fail because this image doesn’t have any sound cards

    sudo aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav
