  • Compiling ffmpeg (-3.0) on windows 7 with nvenc

    21 février 2016, par aviyaChe

    I’m trying to compile ffmpeg (version 3.0) with the following configuration :

    ./configure --prefix=ffmpeg/ --disable-yasm --enable-nonfree --enable-nvenc

    But I get the following error :

    ERROR: nvEncodeAPI.h not found.

    I download the latest Nvidia video SDK (version 6.0.1), but I don’t know where to copy the nvEncodeAPI.h file.

    I have the following set up :

    • windows 7 64 bit
    • cygwin64 terminal
    • Nvidia Quadro k4200, with driver 361.91
  • Video Overlay not returning to black once video stopped

    24 septembre 2020, par Matt Nelson

    I am combining multiple videos from a webrtc call and aligning the "user-terminal" videos to the left, and the "user-visitor" videos to the right. As the visitor feed can start and strop, they have multiple videos so I'm offsetting them by the timestamp.

    This is working, however crazy it looks !

    The one last issue I have is that when the first visitor video stop on the right, it shows the last frame of that video until the next video starts on the left. Can I have it return o the black background ?

    Here is the command passed to ffmpeg :

    ffmpeg -y

  • java processbuilder x264.exe

    23 juillet 2015, par Pa Rö

    i want encoding a video with the x264 out of my own java application.

    the problem is that the x264.exe start to work, and than it stop.
    the process not terminate, but froze. i try to run the x264 from terminal, that works fine. the problem must be in java.

    here my code :

    String[] command= new String[]{"cmd","/c","x264.exe ....";
    ProcessBuilder pb = new ProcessBuilder(temp);
    Process p = pb.start();
    int ev = 0;
    if (p.waitFor() != 0)
    {
     ev = p.exitValue();
    }

    best regards,
    paul
