GStreamer with MPEG-TS Video4Linux ATSC/DVB Recording
21 juin 2013, par Dustin OpreaI'm having an impossible time setting up a filtergraph to read from a recording that I made from my DVB video4linux device. Any help would be vastly appreciated.
How I made the recording :
To tune the channel :
azap -c ~/channels.conf "Florida"
To record the channel :
cat /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0 > /tmp/test
This is the way that recordings must be made (I can not use any GST DVB plugins to do this for me).
I used tstools to identify that the recording is a TS stream :
tstools/bin$ ./stream_type ~/recordings/20130129-202049
Reading from /home/dustin/recordings/20130129-202049
It appears to be Transport Stream...but that there are no PAT/PMT frames :
tstools/bin$ ./tsinfo ~/recordings/20130129-202049
Reading from /home/dustin/recordings/20130129-202049
Scanning 10000 TS packets
Found 0 PAT packets and 0 PMT packets in 10000 TS packetsI was able to produce a single ES (elementary stream) stream, by running ts2es :
tstools/bin$ ./ts2es -pid 97 ~/recordings/20130129-202049 ~/recordings/20130129-202049.es
Reading from /home/dustin/recordings/20130129-202049
Writing to /home/dustin/recordings/20130129-202049.es
Extracting packets for PID 0061 (97)
!!! 4 bytes ignored at end of file - not enough to make a TS packet
Extracted 219258 of 248113 TS packetsI am able to play the ES stream (even though the video is frozen on the first frame) :
gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=~/recordings/20130129-202049.es ! decodebin2 ! autovideosink
gst-launch-0.10 filesrc location=~/recordings/20130129-202049.es ! decodebin2 ! xvimagesink
gst-launch-0.10 playbin2 uri=file:///home/dustin/recordings/20130129-202049.esNo matter what I do, though, I can't get the original TS file to open. However, it opens in Mplayer/FFMPEG, perfectly (but not VLC). This is the output of FFMPEG :
ffmpeg -i 20130129-202049
ffmpeg version 0.8.5-4:0.8.5-0ubuntu0.12.04.1, Copyright (c) 2000-2012 the Libav developers

I have been trying for a few days, so the following are only examples of a couple of attempts. I'll provide the playbin2 example first, since I know that thousands of people will respond, insisting that I just use that. It doesn't work.

Naturally, I tried the following to start by demuxing the TS format. I believe it's the "es-pids" property that receives the PID in the absence of PMT information (which tstools said there weren't any, above), but I tried "program-number", too, just in case. gst-inspect indicates that one is hex and the other is decimal :

FFMPEG av_interleaved_write_frame() : Operation not permitted
20 octobre 2014, par camslazOk I receiving a ’av_interleaved_write_frame() : Operation not permitted’ error while trying to encode an MOV file. Firstly I need to outline the conditions behind it.
I am encoding 12 different files of different resolution sizes and format types via a PHP script that runs on cron. Basically it grabs a 250mb HD MOV file and encodes it in 4 different frame sizes as MOV, MP4 and WMV file types.
Now the script takes over 10mins to run and encode each of the files for the 250mb input file. I am outputting the processing times and as soon as the time on the script hits 10mins FFMPEG crashes and returns "av_interleaved_write_frame() : Operation not permitted" for the current file being encoded and all other remaining files yet to be encoded.
If the input videos is 150MB the total time the script runs for is under 10mins so it encodes all of the videos fine. Additionally if I run the FFMPEG command on the individual file that it fails on for the 250mb file it encodes the file with no issues.
From doing to research on the error "av_interleaved_write_frame()" it seems it is related to timestamps of what I understand to be of the input file. But in saying that it doesn’t seem to be the case in my instance because I can encode the file with no problem if I do it individually.
example ffmpeg command
ffmpeg -i GVowbt3vsrXL.mov -s 1920x1080 -sameq -vf "unsharp" -y GVowbt3vsrXL_4.wmv
Error output on the failed file at 10mins. Remember there is no issue with the command if I run it by itself it is only when the script hits 10mins.

)Has any anybody encountered this sort of problem before ? It seems to be something to do with the timestamps but only because the script is running for a period longer then 10mins. It maybe related to PHP/Apache config but I don’t know if it is FFMPEG or if it is server config I need to be looking at.

Using ffmpeg with MAMP local server
22 mai 2012, par dirk_22In my MAMP local server home folder on Mac OS X (htdocs), I have a bunch of images (labeled image0 through image(n)) which I would like to stitch together into a jpeg using ffmpeg. When I type the following command into terminal, a .mpg file is successfully generated.
ffmpeg -f image2 -i image%d.jpg videofile.mpg
However, when I try to execute the same command using the php code pasted below, nothing seems to happen.
<?php
shell_exec('ffmpeg -f image2 -i image%d.jpg videofile.mpg');
?>I've copied the installed ffmpeg folder on my home directory into htdocs, but ffmpeg doesn't seem to be accessed. I'm very new to PHP, so please feel free to point out any gross errors in my code. I'd just like the php script to accomplish the same task which terminal executes upon input of the aforementioned command. I'd welcome any and all advice. Cheers.
