    Chaque utilisateur dispose d’une page de profil lui permettant de modifier ses informations personnelle. Dans le menu de haut de page par défaut, un élément de menu est automatiquement créé à l’initialisation de MediaSPIP, visible uniquement si le visiteur est identifié sur le site.

    Dans le cadre de la mise en place d’une plateforme ouverte, il est important pour les hébergeurs de pouvoir disposer de sauvegardes assez régulières pour parer à tout problème éventuel.

    Le problème du podcasting est à nouveau un problème révélateur de la normalisation des transports de données sur Internet.
    Deux formats intéressants existent : Celui développé par Apple, très axé sur l’utilisation d’iTunes dont la SPEC est ici ; Le format "Media RSS Module" qui est plus "libre" notamment soutenu par Yahoo et le logiciel Miro ;

  • ffmpeg duplicates first frame

    When I create a video from series of images, it always duplicates the first frame several times, even when I choose a framerate, which is a multiple of the number of images. This is for a folder with 290 frames. Does anyone know how to fix this ? I’ve tried several things, for hours.

    Command is like this :

    $cmd5 = 'cat Folder/*.jpg | ffmpeg -f image2pipe -vcodec mjpeg -framerate 290/10 -i - -vcodec libx264 -vf \'scale=trunc(iw/2)*2:trunc(ih/2)*2\' Folder/out.mp4';

  • Broadcasting video from the camera to YouTube

    I want to stream video on YouTube. But there are a lot of restrictions. Firstly, I want to do it via an intermediate server. If there is no connection, the broadcast will not complete. Instead, an error will be displayed on the broadcast. This is due to the fact that the camera is close to the battle line. A blackout is not an uncommon occurrence. Also due to the limitations of YouTube (maximum 12 hours of broadcasting time to save), the broadcast has to start twice a day. I tried to implement transmission via FFmpeg and UDP to an intermediary server (I'm using a simple webcam), but the latency at this stage is more than 30 seconds. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    


  • Any working example recording a (e.g. rtsp) stream to a local MP4 file with ffmpeg/libav ?

    I’m looking for a working and not-out-dated script how to record an e.g. rtsp input stream to a local file (mp4) with ffmpeg/libav. If you could point me to one or post one, many thanks in advance. I’m searching for many hours and I haven’t got any experience with this topic.

    A lot of examples, libs, etc. are outdated, but I want to use ffmpeg >= v3.3.

    Any special things I have to consider (when compiling ffmpeg, or when saving local file to iOS device) ?
