    Jolie sélection multiple
    Le plugin Chosen permet d’améliorer l’ergonomie des champs de sélection multiple. Voir les deux images suivantes pour comparer.
    Il suffit pour cela d’activer le plugin Chosen (Configuration générale du site > Gestion des plugins), puis de configurer le plugin (Les squelettes > Chosen) en activant l’utilisation de Chosen dans le site public et en spécifiant les éléments de formulaires à améliorer, par exemple select[multiple] pour les listes à sélection multiple (...)

    Ce plugin vise à gérer des sites de mise en ligne de documents de tous types.
    Il crée des "médias", à savoir : un "média" est un article au sens SPIP créé automatiquement lors du téléversement d’un document qu’il soit audio, vidéo, image ou textuel ; un seul document ne peut être lié à un article dit "média" ;

  • New builds for PHP 5.4 and PHP 5.3

    It’s been a while since I last updated this blog (September 2009 to be exact). Time flies ! Anyway, here comes the actual content : updated imagick binaries for PHP 5.3 and PHP 5.4. The download package also includes ImageMagick 6.8.0 binaries compiled with VC9 (Visual Studio 2008). I noticed that the official ImageMagick builds are now Visual Studio 2010 and that wouldn’t work well with PHP compiled with 2008.

    I am not sure if I am violating any license in distributing ImageMagick binaries but if I do, please let me know and I will remove them. The binaries are just stock ImageMagick 6.8.0, which you can download from http://imagemagick.org/.

    In order to get things running you should add the ImageMagick DLL directory into PATH, add the imagick extension to php.ini and things should be running. At least hopefully.

  • Create a pipeline between two programs C code [on hold]

    I’m using ubuntu OS, my goal is to record a video using ffmpeg and encrypt the frames recorded in paralell and in the same time, so i’m trying to avoid many calls of ffmeg and openssl, my idea is to create a pipeline between the two programs : record frames, pose them in the pipeline and encrypt them with openssl to finally record write them on disk.
    I don’t know how two start, any idea ?

  • ffmpeg streaming from S3

    In a project I’m involved with, we are generating an S3 Signed URL and give it to ffmpeg for transcoding. The source files range from 50GB to 200GB. Large files. The problem is that ffmpeg seems to be using a single thread to decode the source file — i.e. using a single S3 connection from beginning to end. As the transcoding process can be quite long, the chances of that single connection dropping are high. One idea I had was to put a lightweight proxy between ffmpeg and S3 to renew the connection going out to S3. Does anyone have a better idea ?
