• Why is the streaming fps is so large (about 600) when I do ffmpeg streaming a video file through udp ?

  Ubuntu 12.04. ffmpeg version git-2013-03-26-1741fec Copyright (c) 2000-2013 the FFmpeg developers

  The command I use is :

  ffmpeg -i output_20140630.avi  -f mpegts udp://192.168.1.56:1234 

  The streaming fps is about 600, shown in the same terminal.

  If I use the command :

  ffmpeg -i output_20140630.avi  -f mpegts udp://236.0.0.1:200

  Then it is fine. And I can use the command below to play the streamed video :

  ffplay udp://236.0.0.1:2000

• What are the specifications of Flex usable FLV videos ?

  I have a server which streams FLV files to a Flex client.
  In this flex client, the video timeline advances incoherently, and no video can be seen on screen (only the sound can be heard).

  My FLV file has been generated using ffmpeg, which says (about this generated file)

• -vf unrecognized with php exec() function

  I am using php to create a video with fade effects. But exec() function gives following output :

  Why it is giving unrecognized option 'vf' while it works fine when run directly on server.My command is : "ffmpeg -i /usr/slideshow/frame1.mp4 -vf 'fade=out:0:5' /usr/slideshow/fade1.mp4"

  I am executing it with exec() function. Why the error is coming and what should i use to apply filter to my input video. I am working on CentOS server.

  Please guide me...
