• I can not make the transmission

  I’m having a problem set up an icecast server on a server with debian 8 jessie I can stream audio without any inconvenience now what I want to do is stream audio and video so, I looked I could do with theora + vorbis everything ok now I can transmit video and audio but separately, when I want to do it together throws me this error

  the server has a GNU/Linux debian 8 jessie and I need it to be transmitted from a computer with windows 7 +

  Issuing / transcoding error : Your Libav / FFmpeg (libavcodec)
  installation does not have the following encoder : Vorbis Audio. If you
  do not know how to solve this, ask for support for your distribution.

  I use the VLC for that purpose

  I was researching but I can not find anything to solve it, I appreciate the help and if you need any more information ask me and I will pass

  I am not an expert in GNU/Linux but I do what I can and I am learning little by little

• How to make FFMPEG video grayscale ?

  In my program I am using the subprocess Python module in my script to call on FFMPEG to turn a sequence of images into a video (grayscale). It works and a video is created, but upon further inspection I see that the video itself has encoded the different intensities incorrectly.

  Here is my code :

  If you’ll look at the scale bar on the right in the video, which normally looks like this
  in color, you’ll see that the same color shows up twice on the scale bar. I think it’s because FFMPEG is reading colors with the same intensities (for example, yellow and blue) the same way and therefore when the photo is encoded into grayscale it looks like this.

  What can I do ? Is this a matter of changing the "-flags", "gray" parameters of my subprocess call ?

  While converting avi video to ogv, there is a color problem in output file.
  How can I solve this issue ?

  Actually a part of the problem is from the player - so weak question
