Creating farms of unique websites
13 avril 2011, parMediaSPIP platforms can be installed as a farm, with a single "core" hosted on a dedicated server and used by multiple websites.
This allows (among other things) : implementation costs to be shared between several different projects / individuals rapid deployment of multiple unique sites creation of groups of like-minded sites, making it possible to browse media in a more controlled and selective environment than the major "open" (...)

How to import FFMPEG Library in my maven project ?
1er septembre 2021, par GeorgiI have a Spring-boot project, where I am using the ffmpeg library, I am executing the ffmpeg commands through a ProcessBuilder(in the terminal/cmd) and everything works fine, because I have already installed the ffmpeg on my macOS. When I try to generate a jar and run it on an another machine, where ffmpeg is not installed, it is executed, everything works fine, except the ffmpeg comamnds. Is there any change to import the library to my maven project or somehow to use it ?
Is it a good idea to add an external jar of the library ?

Thank you in advance !

Meteor edit audio files on the server
28 décembre 2015, par Mohammed HusseinI am building a Meteor application to split uploaded audio files
I upload the audio files and store them using GridFSchild = Npm.require(’child_process’) ;
var fs = Npm.require('fs');
storagePath= fs.realpathSync(process.env.PWD+'/audio');
StaticServer.add('/audio', clipsPath);and then using a method i split the audio file using
child.exec(command) ;the command is the ffmpeg command used to cut the source audio file and store it on the storagePath
the application worked fine locally but when I tried to deploy it to digital ocian i got errors , stating that the file /audio doesnot exist
I use mupx to deploy and the error appears after "verifying deployment"here is the error

Frames from Video Using OpenCV in Ubuntu with Java 17
2 août 2023, par bstrdnI've been trying to extract frames from a video using OpenCV in an Ubuntu environment with Java 17, but all my attempts have been unsuccessful so far. The main issue is that ffmpeg is not detected by the OpenCV library on ubuntu.

Here's my test code :

Main class

import org.opencv.core.Core;
import org.opencv.videoio.VideoCapture;

public class Main {
 public static String videoPath = "";
 static {
 String osName = System.getProperty("os.name").toLowerCase();
 if (osName.contains("win")) {
 System.loadLibrary(Core.NATIVE_LIBRARY_NAME);
 videoPath = ClassLoader.getSystemResource("video.mp4").getPath();
 } else {
 videoPath = "/video.mp4";
// System.loadLibrary(Core.NATIVE_LIBRARY_NAME);
 System.load("/usr/lib/opencv_java470.so");
 }
 }

 public static void main(String[] args) throws InterruptedException {
 VideoCapture videoCapture = new VideoCapture(videoPath);
 if (!videoCapture.isOpened()) {
 System.out.println("Error opening video file.");
 } else {
 System.out.println("Everything is fine.");
 }
 System.out.println(Core.getBuildInformation());
 Thread.sleep(1000000000000000000L);
 }
}

Maven :

Thank you in advance for your assistance !

First I tried installation following the official instructions.https://github.com/bytedeco/javacv#required-software

Then the solution provided in https://stackoverflow.com/a/76750478/8087508,

but the result is the same.
