Is there any way to input command into running "cmd" that we called before ? FFMPEG
26 août 2019, par Rio ManikSo, i tried to build some apps that can record my computer’s screen (i’m using ffmpeg).
To record my screen i need to input some arguments into cmd, so i made a button that will run cmd and arguments on it when clicked, but here is the problem :
the record process need to be stopped by pressing "q" or "ctrl+c",
is that possible to input some extra command on running cmd ?
because while recording my screen, i don’t want to see the cmd panel, because the app will do something and i need to record it, so i hide it, when the process that i need to record is completed i need to stop the record process through pressing one single button,
is this possible ?Process cmd = new Process();

How to record playable video files in gstreamer even if recording is interrupted unexpectedly (e.g. power disconnects) ?

All is working if the recording is interrupted by keyboard interrupt
Ctrl + C, but if the recording is interrupted unexpectedly (e.g. power gets disconnected) the resulting file has no playable stream, even if the file size is correct.

I know that mp4 recording needs to be stopped properly otherwise it won't have the necessary information at the end of the file, but I was wondering if there was any other gstreamer pipelines or final file formats that would allow for an H265 encoded video file to be playable even if the recording is ended unexpectedly.


It would be good even if the recorded file needed to be converted before being playable (e.g. with ffmpeg), as long as the information can be recovered without having to go through non-free mp4 recovery tools.

Using ffmpeg with Python 2.7
1er juillet 2015, par suffaI have been trying to install pyffmpeg in Python 2.7 unsuccessfully. I found a package for Python 2.6, but I can’t get it to work. So, I have been mulling around with 2.7. I’ve seen previous post from others on this site, but they have not helped. Does anyone have experience with this. Ultimately, I want to develop an wxPython app that converts video formats. Thanks
