Video files are encoded in MP4, Ogv and WebM (supported by HTML5) and MP4 (supported by Flash).
Audio files are encoded in MP3 and Ogg (supported by HTML5) and MP3 (supported by Flash).
Where possible, text is analyzed in order to retrieve the data needed for search engine detection, and then exported as a series of image files.

ffmpeg output parse in batch script
5 juin 2022, par vlad2005I am totally unfamiliar with scripts in Windows, but are forced to use such a script. I would like someone to help me with the following problem. I want to process the output from ffmpeg command to save information about access an webcam to be used later.
More precisely command is following :



ffmpeg -stats -hide_banner -list_devices true -f dshow -i dummy




and output is like this :

Typically, the first two occurence for ”Alternative name” from DirectShow correspond to video and audio, so for simplicity I want these two information saved in two variables.
In this example is :

ffmpeg compilation issue on Windows phone 8.1

I was able to compile ffmpeg on Windows phone 8using these steps :My configuration
OS : Windows 8.1 VS : Ultimate 2013 Update 3 (If armasm fails, msvcdis110.dll missing download it from dllsearch ) Mingw (be sure that "link" and "cl" commands point to MS "link" and "cl") FFmpeg 2.1.5
Follow prerequisites listed here : https://ffmpeg.org/platform.html#Microsoft-Visual-C_002b_002b-or-Intel-C_002b_002b-Compiler-for-Windows
-) Download c99toc89 : https://github.com/libav/c99-to-c89/downloads/. Be sure all files from c99toc89 are in Mingw PATH (copy in /bin)
-) FFMPEG requires stdint.h and inttypes.h headers standardized as a part of C99. Unfortunately, Visual Studio does not include these files. Fortunately, there is a project that fixes this issue. Download the latest version and unpack it to Visual Studio includes (C :\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\VC\include).

FFmpeg vidstab generates jerky wiggling video
27 mars 2022, par praet0ri4nI run Kdenlive 21.12.3 on Ubuntu 20.04.
Recently I stared editing footage from my Nikon D3100 DSLR. Source videos are 1920:1080 24fps in MOV format (camera set to PAL system).


After trying to stabilize a video where I am walking I noticed that the result is kind of stabilized but the image is distorted and contains some strange wiggling effect. Changing the stabilization settings doesn't have any impact on this effect. I haven't seen this before. Previously I stabilized footage from other cameras without problems. This is the first time I use that DSLR.


To me it looks like stabilization is doing some strange interpolation and it is stretching and skewing the image or pixel aspect ratio.
For convenience I tried the vidstab filter with ffmpeg, played around with the interpol option too, but the result ist exactly the same.
