Change AVI creation date with ffmpeg ?
1er novembre 2016, par brockAs far as I can tell the following ffmpeg command should copy all existing metadata in the input file to the output file and modify the specified field in the output file :
ffmpeg -i VID_20130502_220104.avi -metadata creation_time="2013-05-02 22:01:04" -codec copy VID_20130502_220104-2.avi
Instead, it seems to strip all metadata from the output file. Here is the output of a few commands. I am going nuts. I think this should work, but why is it not ?
Command to edit the creation time :
ffmpeg -i VID_20130502_220104.avi -metadata creation_time="2013-05-02 22:01:04" -codec copy VID_20130502_220104-2.avi

Building my own FFmpeg for android in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Vitamio)
16 août 2016, par EduardoUstarezI am trying to build FFmpeg because I realized that my app doesn’t work for android 6.0 in x86 devices before that I have published my app with targetsdkversion 23 (It has text relocations) and now I can’t publish my app using targetsdkversion 22 (This is the way that I could fix the problem). So I read a lot about this problem It seems there isn’t a solution. Some people say that I can compile ffmpeg using —disable-asm flag and I can solve the problem. I want to generate a libffmeg.so for vitamio that works on x86 android 6.0.
I am using
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Android NDK r12b
And my example project is Vitamio-5.0.2 from Download
So I am working on this tutorial
This is my FFmpeg-Android.sh file
#!/bin/bash
export ANDROID_NDK=/home/myuser/Downloads/android-ndk-r12b
DEST=`pwd`/build/ffmpeg && rm -rf $DEST
SOURCE=`pwd`/ffmpeg
if [ -d ffmpeg ]; then
cd ffmpeg
else
git clone git://source.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.git ffmpeg
cd ffmpeg
fi
git reset --hard
git clean -f -d
git checkout `cat ../ffmpeg-version`
patch -p1 <../FFmpeg-VPlayer.patch

and I have an errorI have changed —disable-asm to —enable-asm and I have compiled FFmpeg-Android.sh correctly
I copied the libffmpeg.so generated in armv6, armv7, neon and vfp files in my android studio project.
I don’t know if I copied libffmpeg.so files in the correct place
armv6 -> arm64-v8a
armv7 -> armeabi-v7a

How to create a video from image buffers using fluent-ffmpeg ?
23 juin 2016, par Zacky PickholzI’ve been trying to create a slideshow from a series of images using nodejs + fluent-ffmpeg, however it is not working well or consistently. ffmpeg occasionally emits "Error : ffmpeg exited with code 1 : pipe:0 : Invalid data found when processing input", and in case an eventual video (mp4) is created it seems to be missing images/frames.
The process is as follows : images are loaded into memory, transformed resized to same dimensions using lwip, written sequentially into a passthrough stream, which is fed to ffmpeg as input.
Relevant code snippets :
var lwip = require('lwip');
var ffmpeg = require('fluent-ffmpeg');
var stream = require('stream');
var imagesStream = new stream.PassThrough();
...
image.batch()
.contain(options.video.width, options.video.height, 'lanczos')
.toBuffer(options.frames.format, {quality: 100}, (err, buffer) => {
if (err) {
throw ('error convering image to buffer. ' + err);
}
imagesStream.write(buffer, 'utf8');
resolve();
});
...
ffmpeg(imagesStream)
.inputOptions('-framerate 1/' + options.frames.secsPerImage)
.input(path.join(AUDIO_ROOT, options.audio.track))
.save(path.join(path.join(OUTPUT_FOLDER, `${options.video.output.prefix}${timestamp}.${options.video.output.format}`)))
.size(`${options.video.width}x${options.video.height}`)
.on('start', () => {
console.log('creating the clip now...')
})
.on('progress', (progress) => {
var progPercent = Math.round(100 * progress.frames / (numImages * options.frames.secsPerImage * 25));
progPercent = Math.min(progPercent, 100);
console.log(`processing: ${progPercent}% done`)
})
.on('stderr', (line) => {
console.error('ffmpeg error: ' + line);
})
.on('error', (error) => {
reject('ffmpeg transcoding error: ' + error);
})
.on('end', () => {
console.log('done!');
resolve(true);
})
.run();And here is the output :
