    La manière la plus simple d’ajouter des informations aux auteurs est d’installer le plugin Inscription3. Il permet également de modifier certains comportements liés aux utilisateurs (référez-vous à sa documentation pour plus d’informations).
    Il est également possible d’ajouter des champs aux auteurs en installant les plugins champs extras 2 et Interface pour champs extras.

    MediaSPIP peut être installé comme une ferme, avec un seul "noyau" hébergé sur un serveur dédié et utilisé par une multitude de sites différents.

    Pour un fonctionnement correct et optimal, plusieurs choses sont à prendre en considération.
    Il est important, après avoir installé apache2, mysql et php5, d’installer d’autres logiciels nécessaires dont les installations sont décrites dans les liens afférants. Un ensemble de librairies multimedias (x264, libtheora, libvpx) utilisées pour l’encodage et le décodage des vidéos et sons afin de supporter le plus grand nombre de fichiers possibles.   • FFmpeg mix audio clips at given time into a main audio file

    I has been recording small audio clips for an audio book. I have the start time of each one in seconds. The music lenght is of, let's say 60 min. I am thinking in create a silence audio file of the same duration as the music, but how I can add each clip into the given start time ? No matter if the clips overlap. I tried using concat and inpoint without the blank file and the output is empty (I am using wav files), that why the idea of use a master blank file as base.

    



    If possible I would really appreciate any example.

  • How to recompile with -fPIC

    I was trying to reinstall my ffmpeg, following this guide, on my ARM Ubuntu machine. Unfortunately, when I compile a program which uses this lib I get the following failure :

    



    /usr/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib/libavcodec.a(amrnbdec.o): relocation R_ARM_MOVW_ABS_NC against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/local/lib/libavcodec.a: could not read symbols: Bad value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status


    



    Now I would like to recompile it with -fPIC like the compiler is suggesting but I have no idea how. Any help is appreciated.

    


  • Requesting header information of a file

    is there anyway I can request only the header information of any media. For example I just want to request header information of any video file so as to find its video length. I tried using ffmpeg -i {video_url} and did the work but I noticed that it actually downloads the given media in local storage and returns back the header information which obviously increases roundtrip time.

    So I would really appreciate if there is any idea for finding the length of media in a fly. BTW I have a ruby on rails application where I need to implement this.
