  I have a stream I got from rtsp and I want to convert it to rtmp broadcast using ffmpeg.

  


  1- read stream from rtsp
2- fps = 3, size = 848x480
3- When it detects motion, it will not encode when there is no motion to broadcast rtmp

• Xvfb : stream video output to browser ?

  I have a selenium test that runs headlessly using Xvfb. I want to see what is going on, is it possible to stream the Xvfb screen to a video so that I can watch it from my browser ?

  I am using chrome browser.

• subprocess call of ffmpeg returns negative value

  Here is the original command line call that works at shell :

  Getting a negative value when trying to run ffmpeg via subprocess, causing it to fail and not process. I’ve even tried dumbing down the call to just run ffmpeg by itself with no arguments, and it still returns a negative value.
