• Why does ffmpeg return "No such file or directory"

  I'm trying to split a video file into 2 second increments and then merge the video back together.

  First subprocess runs perfectly although the second outputs returns

  


  "Impossible to open 'chunk-000.mp4'\r\nC:\\SplitAndMergeVids\\Chunk\\video.ffcat: No such file or directory".

  When I run cmd_input and second_input manually in cmd, everything functions perfectly. I don't understand how in the first command I am making a file at "ffcat_path", then in the second command I'm using the same "ffcat_path" and it returns "No such file or directory" when it certainly does exist.

  


• FFMPEG : How to mix different types of image sequence inputs when creating multiple streams

  I am using a piece of software that generates a .txt files with rendered images. The list within that txt files is printed with the word 'file' at the beginning of the file path.

  


  Ex : file 'file:C :/Users/User/Desktop/test/Test.0001.png'

  


  I am attempting to input another image sequence as an overlay. Everything works fine if I just overlay, scale, and render. So this works fine :

  


  ffmpeg -hide_banner -y -f concat -safe 0 -i C:/test/input.txt -i "C:/test/BALL.%04d.png" -filter_complex "overlay[4K_in];[4K_in]scale=1920:1080[hdOut]" -map [hdOut] hd.mp4


  


  But when I start to split the stream to create different outputs it will only render the overlayed stream [1:v] and not the composited image.

  If I remove 'file' from the frames file path in the .txt file it works.

  


  Ex : file 'C :/Users/User/Desktop/test/Test.0001.png'

  


  Unfortunately, I am unable to change this as it's being generated and run within a piece of software. Are there any flags or something that I need to add to get around this ? Any other possible techniques beyond starting another &&ffmpeg call to generate the streams over the overlay ?

• Use specific channels from specific streams for the final stream using FFMPEG [closed]

  I want to create a 5.1ch audio stream from a 2ch audio stream. However I want to put a negative delay to LFE, SL and SR channels since they will be played from my bluetooth speaker, so I want to make up for the delay by giving it a negative delay.

  I tried taking the same input twice with the first one being delayed by 0.1 secs. With the delayed input a 5.1 audio is created and with the original another 5.1 audio is created as well. Then the two audio streams are merged with amerge and combined into a single 5.1 audio by taking delayed channels for FL and FR(These will be played from my MacBook) and by taking original channels for LFE, SL and SR(These will be played from my bluetooth JBL). Finally the video and subs streams are taken from the delayed.

  The above command gave a "pipe pipe pipe dqoute" error and when I entered the command again it said :
