  • Error compiling and building DashEncoder code and how to play the .mpd file when generated [closed]

    11 avril 2013, par niuu

I'm trying to build the DashEncoder code which I downloaded from github https://github.com/slederer/DASHEncoder. Well, I followed all the instructions given in the how to compile dash file. installed Gpac n X264 and compiled both successfully. Then did make of Dashencoder and ran it as ./Dashencoder. But I found some issues in it. Got this log :

  • How to downscale video using subprocess and then piping the data over to stdout and play using ffplay and save it as well

2 avril 2021, par ZeroDay Fracture

I am trying to use ffmpeg to downscale a video and pipe the stdout data to ffplay to play the new downsized video by piping it to ffplay on aws lambda.

This is the command I have so far, but for some reason adding a scale option is not working.

I am trying to run this command locally before I deploy it on python with subprocess command. I need the raw video to be able to save into database for streaming the data in realtime.

    %ffmpeg -i sample.mp4  -vf scale=240:-2 -f  mpegts -c:v copy -af aresample=async=1:first_pts=0 - | ffplay -

adding the scale optioin for some reason is saving the video as the name scale=240 :-2 which does not make sense.

  • Using FFmpeg in C# project

    17 août 2018, par JustLogin

I’m trying to create a desktop live-streaming app in C#. The program must run under Windows and stream image from user’s desktop to rtmp. There must also be options of framerate, video size, quality and codec (h263 and h264). I think FFmpeg is the best choise for this (if it is not so, please write a comment). I’ve managed to do everything I mentioned above with ffmpeg.exe using console. So I wish to know, can I include FFmpeg library into C# project (as a .lib or .dll) to use it instead of .exe, saving suitable functionality for my task ? I’ll be very grateful for any examples.

P.S. Here are some examples of commands I use :

    ffmpeg -f dshow -i video=UScreenCapture -vcodec h264 -pix_fmt yuv420p -s 320x240 -f flv rtmp://[my adr]/desc

    ffmpeg -f dshow -i video=UScreenCapture -vcodec h264 -r 15 -t 0:1:00 -q 12 -pix_fmt yuv420p -s 320x240 -f flv rtmp://[my adr]/desc
