  • Trying to stream to multiple RTMPs with tee throws : Output file #0 does not contain any stream

    27 août 2020, par user33276346

I'm trying to stream one file to multiple rtmps. The following command streams ok to one endpoint :

    ffmpeg -re -stream_loop 10 -i input.mp4 -c copy -f flv rtmps://x4t-myamsacc-usct.channel.media.azure.net:2935/live/x4t/x4t

    This one does not :

    ffmpeg -re -i input.mp4 -c copy -f tee "[f=flv]rtmps://x4t-myamsacc-usct.channel.media.azure.net:2935/live/x4t/x4t"

    Throws this error :

Output file #0 does not contain any stream

Once I can do it for one, I plan to do it for more. What could I be doing wrong ? This is the console log :

  • avformat/mov : base pcmC endianness on just the LSB

avformat/mov : base pcmC endianness on just the LSB

As per 23003-5:2020, the rest of the bits are reserved, and thus
in the future they may be utilized for something else.

    Quote :
format_flags is a field of flags that modify the default PCM sample format.
Undefined flags are reserved and shall be zero. The following flag is defined :
0x01 indicates little-endian format. If not present, big-endian format is used.

  • Save live video stream .m3u8 to MP4. Video freezes for a few seconds

11 octobre 2020, par Frodo Baggins

I am trying to save in MP4 an .m3u8 live stream using FFMPEG.

The version in use is the following : $ ffmpeg -v
ffmpeg version 3.4.8-0ubuntu0.2 Copyright (c) 2000-2020 the FFmpeg developers built with gcc 7 (Ubuntu 7.5.0-3ubuntu1 18.04)

While the command used for saving the stream in MP4 is the the one below :

    ffmpeg -y -i https://stream.m3u8 —map 0 —vcodec copy -acodec copy / output.mp4

The file can be successfully opened and played with VLC even though every 3-5 seconds I see that the video freezes every few seconds.

I wonder if it's something that I am missing in the above command.

I also verified whether the issue was related to the connection in use but it does not seem related.
