Installing FFmpeg in Red Hat 5 without internet connection
22 septembre 2014, par kobain8I am trying to install the last working version of FFmpeg over Red Hat 5 and the machine has no internet connection, so I have to bring all the packages and required dependencies in a USB. The problem I am having is to get everything I would need for it.
I searched through Google to find some guide or documentation to hep me, but there is nothing valuable for me.
The version I got install was FFmpeg 0.6, but it is too old for my purpose of grabbing with x11grab, so anyone has any suggestion in order to get install one of the last versions of FFmpeg.
Thanks in advance, right now I need some light !!

Streaming images with ffmpeg gives shorter video
24 juin 2014, par darko_5I am streaming a video form my camera by passing to ffmpeg images from that camera. I am using command :
ffmpeg -r 26 -re -f image2pipe -vcodec mjpeg -i - -c:v libx264 -f flv -preset ultrafast -s hd720 -maxrate 2000k -bufsize 150k rtmp://someaddress:port
My problem is that, when light is weak and/or computer is slow my fps number is getting lower, even so i set it to
-r 26
. Low fps causing that video playad on web side is sometimes in fast motion and file i save to disk is shorter than it should.
My opereting system is OS X. How can i do it so the video i s in proper speed. -
How to use the result of guardian-ffmpeg-Android ?
4 avril 2013, par user1914692I am trying to build ffmpeg on Android. There are many tutorials. Some are very old.
So I want to try one that can use newer version of ffmpeg and Android NDK.
After long time searching, I find one, guardianproject / android-ffmpegThe project was updated several months ago.
NDK r8 is used. ffmpeg is put from online, so a latest version. After I follow all the instruction, I am confused which result I should use, and how to use it.
The README mentions testing, like :# embedding metadata into a matroska video /data/local/ffmpeg -y -i test.mp4 \
-attach attach.txt -metadata:s:2 mimetype=text/plain \
-acodec copy -vcodec copy testattach.mkvFirst, I fail to find the path : /data/local
Second, this is a command. How will I use it in Android ?Totall confused.
Any light ?
