    MediaSPIP utilise les balises HTML5 video et audio pour la lecture de documents multimedia en profitant des dernières innovations du W3C supportées par les navigateurs modernes.
    Pour les navigateurs plus anciens, le lecteur flash Flowplayer est utilisé.
    Le lecteur HTML5 utilisé a été spécifiquement créé pour MediaSPIP : il est complètement modifiable graphiquement pour correspondre à un thème choisi.

    Formulaire de création d’une catégorie
    Pour ceux qui connaissent bien SPIP, une catégorie peut être assimilée à une rubrique.
    Dans le cas d’un document de type catégorie, les champs proposés par défaut sont : Texte
    On peut modifier ce formulaire dans la partie :
    Administration > Configuration des masques de formulaire.
    Dans le cas d’un document de type média, les champs non affichés par défaut sont : Descriptif rapide
    Par ailleurs, c’est dans cette partie configuration qu’on peut indiquer le (...)

  • Queuing up videos for live stream

    Would first like to tell that am new to streaming and ffmpeg.

    Would try to explain scenario as much as possible.

    A web service is intended to receive chunks of video from a user. those chunks need to be simultaneously sent to the web for live streaming for a seamless viewing.

    So the videos need to be queued up for streaming to the web so that it looks like a long single video. and the strict requirement is not to make any temp file on disk.

    Did read something about pipes but am completely alien to that concept as well.

    Kindly tell how / whether this can be achieved from FFMPEG or any other free tool .

    Language used is PHP . The received videos also need to be saved to disk in parallel for new users to see from start.

  • ffmpeg questions

    I have a problem with ffmpeg and I don’t know how to continue. I have 2 computers :

    Client :

    • Run Ubuntu 14.04
    • FFmpeg installed
    • Use c++ language
    • Features : use ffmpeg to encode h264 video data from webcam of client laptop, then real time streaming to server

    Server :

    • Running Windows 7
    • FFmpeg installed
    • Use c++ language (MFC)
    • Features : Get real time data from client and show it on screen.

    I’ve just connected client to server and they can chat text data together, and I don’t have any idea to make real time video work.

    And my questions are :

    1. [Client] How to get video from webcam on laptop (using ffmpeg code), save it to buffer (raw data), encode it and send to server ?

      I use ffmpeg to get video from wc but it save to file. I really don’t want it. Code is :

      ffmpeg -f v4l2 -framerate 25 -video_size 640x480 -i /dev/video0 output.mkv

    2. [Client] How to get raw data from client, decode it and play it ?

      I have an idea to play it by using directshow in MFC.
